I have a friend planning to move. He is working in IT, and looking to transfer to India location. It's not applicable to everyone, but that is also an option.

@bidurthapa .. I talked to a lawyer in MD she doesn't recommend filing asylum atm and returning to f1 is kinda of late for me I think even if I had time she says it's 50-50 at best...

@mrlolfrom I think still you can apply to the schools and can get I-20(self-finance) and can file I 539 before august 5. If the program is good still chance of approval of I-20. If you came us in f1 then the chance might be high(according to khagendra gc interview) .If they denied then you can leave us after decision

Finding asylum you won’t get greencard 100%.that’s just for extension of your stay.and after you file asylum you cannot
go to any other status any other way.like no one can sponsor you for greencard you are stuck in asylum for ever .

@Hanuman, While I agree with what you said about the farming, there are some opportunities to make good money in agriculture in Nepal. E.g

Farmers in the district collectively earn Rs. 400 to 500 million annually from orange farming. According to the Agriculture Knowledge Centre in Tanahun, farmers earned Rs. 400 million in the fiscal year 2023/24 by producing 11,518 metric tonnes of oranges.

Source: https://risingnepaldaily.com/news/54101#:~:text=Farmers%20in%20the%20district%20collectively,11%2C518%20metric%20tonnes%20of%20oranges.

Fruits farming is not for everyone though. It takes lots of initial capital and it will take at least 2-3 years to bear fruits. I read about Mushroom farmers making quite good money as well.

There are ample opportunities to make quite good money in Nepal in agriculture. It might not be easy, but it certainly is not impossible.

I heard agricultural tools have 0 tarrif in nepal .just wondering why everyone is not using .may be they are using I don’t know .no body to work in khet bari these days , even if you get workers they charge high rate .its not profitable.if you have tools you can do everything by yourself.being in nature in your own country is better for your health than living in stress your whole life.you see people working stressful life whole year and visit mountains for hiking once a year to relieve stress.in nepal if you work in agriculture you are in mountains or in nature 24/7 .
