Lalupathey!

Well, since you bring the agenda of Mr. Bush, I can't help myself to write this. Few days back, I happened to see from very close, the Mr. Bush alike. Guess what...Guess who is that??? It is our very own Prince of Wales- Mr. Windsor (???) or rather Mr. Charles.

Dang the same ear set, same eyes set, same brows, same color etc. For a while, instead of taking his picture, I was lost in the imagination of Bush's long lost twin brother in Kumb Ko Mela. I wish I were in DC....

Bush is a modern-day dictator. The summit in Argentina failed because of America's ambitious empirialistic vision to coca-colonize the world with the tools of capitalism.American capitalism is responsible for this immense gap between the rich and famine stricken African villages. And how unfortunate the ever exploited societies of the third world look for the American model of democracy".
I donot support communism period but why should I support America either?Supporters of American policies, the world bank and the IMF including the corrupt leaders of Nepal should learn the lessons from the streets of Buones Aires,Argentina.
It is time we wake upto the reality of our silence against the blood sucking organizations like the world bank and the IMF before we are ruthlessly manipulated and exploited in the name of the third world.
The true reality of Bush's American freedom is vividly seen in the post-Katrina world,in the prisons of Abu ghraib and streets of Argentinian cities.

izen ,

i agree with you on bush. but i disagree on your views about the democracy (american model or not) you are right there are problems in the world not because of american democracy but because of poor american foreign policies. in general america is doing great. it was doing even better in clinton's administration. so democracy is working fine for america.

it's the foreign policies that was the cause of 9/11 all the protests are seen against american policies to only profit themselves and trying to control all world resources. the protest are not against american democracy.

bush said that "they hate us because of our freedom". hell no bush they hate american policies which basically screws them most of the time if not always

Birbhadra,
Is there a univeral law or declaration that the independent nations of the world should embrace American model of freedom or democracy?Freedom is every human's birth right.American's obsession to interfere with internal matters of any sovereign nation simply they believe their style of democracy is the model for others is simply unacceptable.
" Democracy is the best system among all the worst political system".Thats the true reality of democratic political system. How about scandinavian model? Why only American?
Contd....

izen,

i've previously read your comments and i like it a lot. you are getting it wrong. america doesn't want other nations to adapt their version of democracy. they (the government, of course) just want to control take control of the world resources.

when we talk about democracy we are talking about generic version which is fundamentally universal. however it would mould into its own form in the respective countries.

scandinavian model won't work for nepal because:
1. we had that model it didn't work.

2. scandinavian countries and other countries like GB and japan look at them man they are so rich they can feed 10 kings and their families. nepal is poor so poor. money doesn't grow on trees so the royals have to paid by taxing the poor. why?

3. not only that the wealth in nepal is diveded unproportionally. i'm not just talking about personal wealth, i'm talking about public wealth. is all parts of nepal get at least fair share of the gross revenues? NO. only certain places have good roads, schools, hospitals etc primarily kathmandu. this is because of centralized government. democracy means not only having freedom of speechs ........etc but also means that every place should have thier own ruling government which will get fair share according to their revenues and will not be interfered by federal government unless it is a national crisis.

4. as long as there is monarchy it can never happen. look in the army who are in the higher ranks somebody related to the royals. who owns large businesses somebody from the royal family.

contd...

Birbhadra,
Furthermore,I would suggest any dignified human being of the world to keep themselves in a distance between choosing "Democracy and Freedom" and "American democracy and American Freedom".It is like the difference between actual fries and fries that you buy from Mcdonald's.Mcdonald's can sell their fries but they don't have any right to claim they invented fries or their fries are the best.Sometimes homemade fries taste better :).
And for Americans or any free nation as they claim,I have apersonal suggestion for them.
"Freedom is my birth right so is my right to vote for the person that will represent mePerhaps the world think you are powerful you have no authority over me ao any individual to preach your model of freedom. You are simply contradicting your own theory there by doing that. And it is my freedom to arrive at what would best define freedom to me.And discover the truth behind it."
Birbhadra it called dignity bro.And if you compromise your dignity you have nothing left.Thats the beauty of being a human who is born alone and dies.Americans should understand this or for that matter anyone who claim to be an authority.

izen,

forget about america. lets's not argue about what america should do (for the time being). let's talk about nepal. before i comment on anything let me know where you stand as far as nepal is concerned.

what do you think should happen in nepal for the betterment of the people?? ( my definition of nepal is it's people otherwise it is just a piece of land with mtns. and rivers, if there is no nepali there is no nepal but if there is no king nepal will still exist)

contd..

Dear Birbhadra,
I have no complex theory about what political system should Nepal embrace or who should Nepalese instill as their leader.Ours is country of a prince who gave lessons of compassion and human values centuries back renouncing his luxury and society that followed his teachings. And our's is a country today where a prince is labeled all over the world for being reckless blood hungry spoiled kid and the political arena is overflowed with corrupt minded elites endorsing anything that best suites their personal and political interest. And the rebels who fight them using guns.
Do I have to say more?Sorry bro I have limited knowledge on complex political theoriries.I Picture them in simple manner I possibly can.

I was reading the email exchange from FEMA director Brown and his secretary today and I was completely left with shock. At a time when the gulf coast was with awe and desperation when levee had breached and Katrina pounding, Mr. Brown was worried about what clothes to wear, if tie was OK or not? or whether he would look good on TV with a blue shirt? His secretary then replied by saying to roll his sleeves when he was on TV to show and I quote "that he should look hardworking, like President Bush".

I mean didn't she admit that he was on TV just to show how hardworking he and President wanted to look. This is outright stunning from the so called responders at a time of disasters. They just wanted to look hard working for their photo op opportunity. What a load of crap. If this is the kind of people at such high posts then you would want to think, who else? where? and what else?

This is because of his appointment as a director of fema by Mr. Bush. And as Harry Truman rightly said, "The bucks stops here". And it stops at this WHITE HOUSE handling of the Iraq war and domestic issues.

The criminal war of criminal imperialist aggression must be stopped. The criminal assault against Saddam and other anti-colonialist liberation forces in the middle East, such as al-Qaida, is clearly a white, racist, and Eurocentric plot to put down the Islamic liberation movement that has established itself as the rightful non-Western alternative to the sexist, homophobic, and theocratic idea of "democracy" preached in the West, which is only a smokescreen for the exploitation of women and people of colour. And let's not forget about oil- everyone also knows that the so-called "free market" is merely a much more advanced form of colonialism, a form of expropriation far more brutal and exploitative than the Roman, British, and Assyrian Empires put together.

While the nation was distracted by the ideological myth of "terrorism", Bush gave himself more power than Hitler or Stalin ever had. Dissenters are being executed in the streets even as the masses are deluded into believing that the Constitution- which itself never did anything except secure the tyranny of the white redneck ruling class- is still in force. The Holocaust-like persecution of progressives goes hand-in-hand with the brutal repression of liberation forces under the rhetoric of terror associated with the myth of "terrorism"- a form of hate speech invoked to demonize demands by women and members of oppressed groups for equality against the oppressor.

Another reason for the hegemonic discourse of "terrorism" is to maintain the hegemony of the hegemonic status quo when it comes to health care. Bush wants to divert attention away from how people in such well-regulated, free, and efficient countries like France and Canada get free health care at no public or private cost whereas in America, if your child gets sick the Department of Homeland Security shoots it with privately-owned unregistered handguns and sells the body to the capitalist who takes it to the dog-food factory.

OMG Matrixrose, that was too nasty against idiot Bush. Bush deserves no sympathy but he will break into tears if he hears things as such from a learned - democratic - scholar;)

''The criminal assault against Saddam and other anti-colonialist liberation forces in the middle East, such as al-Qaida, is clearly a white, racist, and Eurocentric plot to put down the Islamic liberation movement that has established itself as the rightful non-Western alternative to the sexist, homophobic, and theocratic idea of "democracy" preached in the West, which is only a smokescreen for the exploitation of women and people of colour.''
Like a version of a Jihadist here.Is there a more sexist idea in any theocracy than islam? Where are women exploited more than in the muslim world?

''While the nation was distracted by the ideological myth of "terrorism", Bush gave himself more power than Hitler or Stalin ever had.''

Agreed but ''Dissenters are being executed in the streets even as the masses are deluded into believing that the Constitution- which itself never did anything except secure the tyranny of the white redneck ruling class- is still in force. The Holocaust-like persecution of progressives goes hand-in-hand with the brutal repression of liberation forces under the rhetoric of terror associated with the myth of "terrorism"- a form of hate speech invoked to demonize demands by women and members of oppressed groups for equality against the oppressor. ''

Blatant accusation here again.

''Bush wants to divert attention away from how people in such well-regulated, free, and efficient countries like France and Canada get free health care at no public or private cost whereas in America, if your child gets sick the Department of Homeland Security shoots it with privately-owned unregistered handguns and sells the body to the capitalist who takes it to the dog-food factory. ''

Well said but down in the future, Americans will be glad to discover that Bush did well to preserve American supremacy in the world at the cost of free public health care. When the world will be in the brink of running out of fossil fuels, Americans will be the least affected people in the whole world. Without Bush's foreign policy that wouldn't be the case. As we cannot imagine the ideal world where the Jihadists and the Crusaders can't live in harmony, the christiandom will be thankful to Bush's policy one day. Which will prove that Bush is doing the best thing for the Americans;)

BTW, it was amazing to see Hugo Chavez being a superhit and Bush a superflop in Argentina. It may be true in the American continent but again Bush is doing whats needed to be done for the American interests. That is what a head of state should do for his state.

OH YEA BUSH IS SMART HAI.....and yea who doesnt know that the price of Freedom must be payed in blood hai.....thus, all these propaganda reports by Saddam's agents in the US and Europe concerning so called civilian casualties only go to show how much more free the Iraqi people will eventually be. The benevolent American military regime that the Iraqis truly want will only further increase this Iraqi respect for freedom.

The introduction of heretofore banned foodstuffs such as Bagels and Latkes will bring a heartfelt love for Israel to the Iraqi people. As well, the Iraqis will soon learn to love American fast food, such as cheetos and ding dongs, and will thus be weaned away from terrorist foods such as the bomb-shaped falafel. wwowowoooooooooo

yea kid baby kid and that all you want....lol
