Bob Marley, if you think Indian owner has more integrity than that of Joshi, you are wrong dude. I am not defending Joshi's action but I am sure that Indian owner reported out of jealousy. Had he gotton the 50% share of the money, would he still report the case? hell no!

Funny, I don't know he comitted crime or not. Any way, he tried to a chance and that worked finely. The problem is Indian Guy who complained doesn't had any good motto. He just want that Pankaj didn't get money because he is super jelous. Any way, this type of things happened in this life. We will listen, put our views. Any way, it is really interesting thing and something will be heard preety soon. There are lot of frauds in Wall streets, H1b and other places. Probably, we are also good enough to do these types of things now a days, but best of luck with the warrent and all the stuffs, if he had done any mistake, we will see how it go.

In Toronto abd other cities of Canada.. "whites" and "yellows" and all sort of people selling working in lotto centres are doing exactly doing this type of thing.... many got away scotfree... some got caught.. and it seems the Lotto authorities personnels themsleves are also involved in some kind of scandals in the prizes..... Now in Canada I heard they installed a device in each Lotto Centre, where one can go and scan his/her own ticket to see if the ticket is a winner... no more to hand over to the lotto centre agent for checking.

Why the hell you cannot check the numbers on TV or paper or website.. why the hell you want to go to lotto centre to figure out???

What Pankaj did was a disgrace to all...Heard a lot of Nepalese student @ University of Texas at Arlington, are facing difficulties due to this incident.  His action is punishable, there is not doubt.

The question is why would the store owner report it....  The story goes, he asked Pankaj Joshi for the ticket to cash it for himself.  PJ refused to this. I guess they could not come to deal. The owner never though PJ would cash the ticket on his own, with all the threaten he was given and also he was student with F1.  PJ cashed it, Owner got pissed and called the Lottery HQ.

What he did was not for justice but out of jealousy and greed.  Neither of them had any ethics....

Looks like the the ticket owner, was actually third in line to get the money...

YOu think all those billionaires became so with ethics???? Forget about ethics !!

Someday.. you will start accusing people for sleeping with their wives.. calling it non-ethical...

@ ved555... just FYI....texas has already those devices or scanner you were talking about. Its been almost 6 months or more for lottery players convenience ...they can check it by themselves and see if its a winner not...... but all these old americans who give their ticket away to clerk are stupid ....some people don't even know how to use a damn credit card in gas pump..... but anyways i was just telling.....customer should be able to trust the clerk.....and joshi made the way for himself....

but most importantly, i am waiting to see if US authorities can find him....
