Just can't stop laughing when I read this article
ँमाओवादी सुधार्न एमाले सरकारमा’

काभ्रे, भदौ ३० - एमाले नेता माधवकुमार नेपालले 'अराजक गतिविधिमा अव्यस्त' माओवादी सुधार्न पार्टर्ीीरकारमा गएको बताएका छन् ।
उनले माओवादीलाई सही बाटोमा ल्याउन 'सिस्नोपानी' को विकल्प नरहेको समेत बताए । 'माओवादीलाई सुधार्न एमाले सरकारमा गएको हो,' बनेपामा सोमबार आयोजित एक कार्यक्रममा नेपालले भने, 'त्यसैले तिनका गलत क्रियाकलापविरुद्ध तीतो औषधि खुवाउ“दै सिस्नुपानी लगाउनर्ुपर्छ ।'
एमाले कार्यकर्ता केपी सापकोटा र सिंहवीर तामाङको बनेपामा आयोजित छैटौं स्मृतिसभामा नेपालले माओवादीस“ग सहकार्य गरे पनि उसका विगतका गलत क्रियाकलाप कहिल्यै बिर्सन नसकिने बताए ।
'माओवादी सुध्रियो भन्ने अवस्था आएको छैन,' नेपालले भने, 'त्यसैले उसको रूपान्तरणका लागि एमालेले सहकार्य गरेको हो ।'
उनले माओवादी अध्यक्ष पुष्पकमल दाहाल प्रधानमन्त्री भएपछि संविधानसभा रोस्ट्रममा उभिएर उनका पार्टर्ीीट मारिएका परिवारको पीडा सम्झेर क्षमा माग्ने अपेक्षा आफूले गरे पनि जनभावनाको कदर नभएको बताए ।
'दाहालले जनयुद्धका क्रममा नगर्नुपर्ने काम गर्यांै, यसमा दुःख छ भन्नुहोला भन्ने सोचेका थियौं,' उनले भने, 'उहा“ले त्यो उदारता देखाउन सक्नुभएन, उल्टै रगतको राजनीति र रगतको खोलामा होली खेलेको पुष्टि गर्न र वाईसीएलको औचित्य पुष्टि गर्न खोज्नुभो ।'
माओवादीले यस्तै गतिविधि निरन्तरता दिए एमालेले पनि 'धमाका' गर्ने चेतावनी दि“दै प्रतिकारमा युथफोर्स गठन भएको उनले बताए । उनले युथफोर्सले र्सवसाधारणलाई शान्तिसुरक्षाको प्रत्याभूति दिएको दाबीसमेत गरे ।
'युथफोर्स गठन भएको क्षेत्रमा जनताले शान्तिसुरक्षा पाएका छन्,' उनले भने, 'तर युथफोर्स वाईसीएल विकृतिको सिकार हुनुहु“दैन ।'
वाईसीएल विघटन प्रस्तावबारे दाहालले नचाहेको नेपालले बताए । 'प्रचण्ड प्रचण्ड नै बन्न खोजे,' उनले भने, 'अब महाप्रचण्ड हुनेछन् ।'
उनले अन्य पार्टर्ीी पनि युवाफोर्स गठन गरिरहेको र तिनले पनि हतियार उठाउने र अराजकता फैलाउन सक्नेतर्फसचेत गराएका थिए । 'अरूले पनि हतियार उठाउन सक्छन्,' उनले भने, 'यी सबै अब प्रधानमन्त्री समाल्नुहोस्, कसरी सरकार चल्दोरहेछ, हेरौं न ।'
उनले माओवादीद्वारा हत्या गरिएका काभ्रेका सहिदहरूको प्रतिमा स्थापना गर्न र सहिद पार्क बनाउन सुझाव दिए ।

Girija le ghokrethyak lagaidiyo, Gyane le ghokrethyak lagaidiyo, Janata le ghokrethyak lagaidiye, Maiosts le pani ghokrethyak lagaidiye antim ma, ... aba jaha payo tehi ra jahile payo tehile crodh pokhdai ra aashu jhardai hidchha. although maoists need to be changed a lot, but he and he cadres also need to be changed, khali arka ko matra dosh or galti dekhne? Ram Baran Yadav is far better than this Makune for the post of presidency; Maoist le euta kaam ta ramrai gareka hun Makune lai ghokrethyak lagai diyera in the presidental election.
by the way, thanks Himalaya for posting very old picture of Makune with Madan Bhandari and others, perhaps taken before 2046 peoples movement when they were still working underground.

MK Nepal’s Qatar visit cancelled
Kantipur Report
KATHMANDU, Oct 2 - Senior CPN-UML leader and Outgoing General Secretary of the party, Madhav Kumar Nepal’s visit to Qatar has been cancelled after the concerned Embassy refused to provide him with the visa.
According to the Nepali Embassy at Doha, Qatar, the visa could not be issued owing to internal reason of the consular office.
As Nepal’s Qatar visit has been cancelled, all the programmes scheduled by the Non Resident Nepali (NRN) Contact Forum have also been cancelled.
General Secretary of NRN Contact Forum Purna KC said that all the programmes including the Third National Conference of the Contact Forum that was scheduled for coming week at Doha have been cancelled.
Nepal was scheduled to leave for Doha along with Party Standing Committee member Tul Bahadur Gurung on Monday.

MK Nepal dubs PM’s remarks “pessimisticâ€

BIRGUNJ, Dec 11 - Senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal Thursday dubbed Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s recent remark concerning pulling out of the government “pessimisticâ€.
He added, “PM Dahal must find his shortcomings instead of saying that his party will pull out of the government if it is unable to work as speculated.â€
“The government cannot be effective the PM himself is negative,†he said at a press conference organised by Press Chautari in Birgunj today.
Nepal, also the outgoing UML General Secretary, further said that the forthcoming days of the government would be even more challenging as the public has been dissatisfied with its so far.
Mentioning the PM is not used to this situation, he went on to say that, the PM must concentrate on works rather than receiving garlands.
He also urged the government to exercise flexibility to provide full shape to the Army Integration Special Committee.

MK Nepal confident of new statute being drafted within 15 months (Herdai jaam aaba aarko aayera katti ma sambidhan lekchau bhanera bhandachan) CPN (UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, who heads the constitutional committee, has claimed the new constitution would be drafted within 15 months. Speaking at a face-to-face programme organised by Press Chautari Nepal in Dang Friday, Nepal said he was confident that the new statute would be ready on time and that he wanted everybody to be sure of it. The CC head's reaction comes amid fears that growing differences between the parties and frequent disruptions of parliamentary affairs could delay the statute-drafting process. Nepal, who lost the Constituent Assembly election from both of his constituencies in Kathmandu and Rautahat districts, was proposed by the Maoists to head the constitutional committee, which is the main CA panel. As per the calendar publicised by the CA, the new constitution would be promulgated by May 28, 2010
