Just a short 'survey' for all married folks on here (only married ones please!) :

1. How old were you and your significant other when you got married?

2. How long have you been married for?

3. What do you think is the right age for a man/woman to get married?

4. Where did you go for your honeymoon?

5. Should one consider each others religion, caste, socioeconomic status etc. prior to getting married?

6. Is marriage really a 'job' that you accepted, full of promises, hope and excitement at first but a dreadful, boring regimen in the long run?

7. What are the pros and cons of getting married? (from your experience)

(I highly doubt there are too many married folks on here, let alone the ones who'd bother replying to this but its a boring Sunday night and thought I'd ask, that's all).

1. How old were you and your significant other when you got married?
 28

2. How long have you been married for?
For me the appropriate question would be, how long your marriage did last?
one month, after that she filed for a divorce and left the country. i am still wondering why did she get married then?

3. What do you think is the right age for a man/woman to get married?
30-35

4. Where did you go for your honeymoon?
Couldn't able to get a chance.

5. Should one consider each others religion, caste, socioeconomic status etc. prior to getting married?
you shouldn't at least i wouldn't as long as someone is a normal human being its ok. but that doesn't mean you wanna get married to a drug addict?do you?

6. Is marriage really a 'job' that you accepted, full of promises, hope and excitement at first but a dreadful, boring regimen in the long run?
Yes, i did as a matter of fact it was one of the best experience i had. But now, i just don't trust on so called "realtionship". i know i will die living alone..

7. What are the pros and cons of getting married? (from your experience)

Don't know

LOL. What if "polygamy" is also another sajha girls username (who is illegal). That'd be interesting too.

hahahahaha Just saw Bairagi Kailo's post (made using FB). He wants to know the conclusion.

@ violet, wasn't being a smart ass at all. But in all seriousness, I would never post my picture to the public, neither ask anybody to do likewise. I mean, I'm genuine, decent and all that but you never know.

Do you go to school in the midwest (hunch feeling).

Do I go to school in the midwest? Was that question for me?

I'm not gonna answer the whole thing here... but a few things;
1. Age for marriage: man-28/29 women- 24/25

2. Honeymoon- manyyyy places actually.....but the foremost is; In a cozy little cottage..in the swiss alps... overlooking the amazing valley...someplace very close to nature!! ( im a nature lover!!) nothing fancy though...  away from all the crazyness of the city!!! and not to forget some swiss cheese, wine and of'course the swiss chocolate!! :)

5. Personally I don't care about the caste/religion/ status etc... all that matters is that you be with the right intensions, pure love, honesty, understanding, happiness etc... and trust me when u meet someone special u wudn't even have to think it twice... u just know that he/she is "THE ONE" u were waiting to start a new life with.

And I don't even want to consider a genuine thing like "marriage"  as a "job". well we all have to be responsible and do ur share.. but let's not take it as a job!! it should come to u as a naturally..... it would have to be something u love doing.

Pros of marriage: I think if u end up with the right person.... there are no cons!!! I mean what more do u want right??? u've got the most powerful thing in ur life (LOVE) ... nothing could go wrong!!... well at leas that's what i feel.

I wish to thank all those who bothered to post their genuine (hopefully) replies on this thread. Your experiences, suggestions etc has helped me get a better grasp of the event that I've been dreaded so far in my life. I guess I'm no longer a gamophobe!
