The Maoist Govt is by the illiterate, for the illiterate and to the illiterate.

This in itself is a looming premonition of doom.

Most of the Nepalis are illiterate, by illerate I mean those who haven't had enough education to make a difference in their lifestyles. No education or less than SLC. Probably 80% of the people fall under this catagory and for them the false hope and actions of Maoists are a welcome change to their lack of hope. When Maoists increase workers wage they don't care if industries are profitable, what they are doing is catering to the illiterate who constitute the majority of Nepali voters.

To the educated mass, all the actions of Maoists don't make sense but it makes sense to the illiterate mass, who will support the Maoists. So Nepal ends up with lato desh with gaado tanneris. All educated ones don't find the government sensible so they will have to leave nepal either by their own will or by force. The Maoists will force educated people out because once you're educated you want to use your education for your own progress and for better things in life. But the maoist govt doesn't want that. Therein lies the catch 22. The maoists wants eveyone to be illiterate so they can rule over them. They promise education but once the illiterate start getting educated they want to use their education to make better lives for them, which is not supported in the Maoist regime.

Hence a vicious cycle of illiteracy and things brewn by it such as crime, corruption and murder. You think it's bad now, wait till the Maoists get into the army and start controlling everything.
