Hey Guys

Mine H1B has approved and it has been approved as a consular processing. So My Dhoti employer said that mine H1 will be validated once I travel to the consulate mentioned in the approval and which is Kathmandu.

So they said me I can work on OPT till my OPT expires and then I had to go to Kathmandu.

  So I have some questions:

1. Do you guys have any idea what is this Consular Processing?

2. Do I have to go to Kathmandu before my OPT expires or can I do it in other place?

3. Can I use my 29 months OPT and extend my OPT and go for stamping sometime later?

4. Will I be automatically H1B after October 1 and from OCT 1 I will be working as H1B and its just a normal case that whenever I go to Nepal I can have stamped over there?

Thank You.

Any Help will be appreciated.

Any Lawyer here in Sajha

Could you please tell me what should I do.

If I talk with the lawyer in the company then they might say go to Nepal before the OPT expires, Since they are also Dhotis. They dont care too much about us.

Please Give me some advice.

Thank You.
