 sending laptop nepal

would it be advised to send laptop tp nepal vai post (USPS).............do we have to pay bhansar and stuff when we get the laptop at home or senf it through some one

declare it as a gift since you are not the seller! and removing all the extra crap that comes with a new laptop would be better i think... although i'm not too sure if it matters.

i am not too sure about it also. it depends on the nepali employee at the nepali custom. from here all you have to do is customer declearance as gift. i sent one to abroad other than nepal to my friend and he did nto have to pay any money at his end. but in nepal.... khandau haru le pachauna sakcha hosiyaar

Yes, you need to pay custom taxes if you send through courier. But if someone carries, it is free. One can carry a laptop and a camera without custom duties.

If you are sending through any courier like UPS, DHL then do not forget to quote as "gift" and include invoice along with a parsal which minimize the rate of duty.
