I used USPS Global Priority mail to send some documents to Nepal. That document never arrived back at my house in Nepal. I sent it via Global Express the second time, this package was lost as well. I do not know what the post office does with documents? It is of no use to them. BTW they were documents. My 1 month become miserable as I was waiting for the delivery of documents. I will NEVER EVER send laptop, notebook or any package to Nepal via ANY kind of mail. If you want your happiness to be royally SCREWED then only send package to Nepal. The best bet (and only one) is to send your package via a person who is flying back to Nepal.

dont think about sending it by any kind of mail ...its real hard ,i tried once but couldn't

later i just send money to buy laptop in nepal which is  far better .its better to buy one new in nepal than

buying a laptop here and paying more than 100% taxes  and it might be lost in your way .
