Guys,

I just found out that my H1 visa application was returned. My OPT expires at the end of this year. Some of the options I am looking at are joining a masters program, going back to Nepal and applying for H1 for next year, applying for Canadian or Australian PR. Can you guys suggest me anything in this regard. Do any of you know how long it takes to process the Canadian and/or Australian PR? If I get a job offer from a Canadian and/or Australian company, is there some work visa( like the H1 in US) that I can apply for? How long is this process going to take. Is there some other country where the process to obtain a work visa is shorter( obviously I will need to find a job in that country first)

I have already contacted my lawyer and he has started to look at the options I have. However, I would really appreciate it if you guys have any suggestions for me.

Nepali_Keta12345,

Since you OPT is valid untill end of this year, you are better of trying to place yourself in a Masters Program. If you don't get admitted to any college prior to two months before your legal stay date in U.S., then you can enroll at Kaplan for GRE/GMAT preparation course. But find out before if Kaplan has any course starting around the end day of your grace period expiration date.
