Hello All,
I surprised to read today that one of Nepal Top engineering institute(Pulchowk)admision capacity for it Master degree course only 8 seats for regular and 10/14 seats for full paying fee. Very high competition to get admission and rear chance for many aspiring nepalese student. Why not they increase the capacity and also there resources on this regards. It is very pity that they provide very limited opportunity for very limited people.

Any input are welcome

I think your information is little misguided, In civil and environmental engineering department they admit 16 students each in 5 Majors (Structural/water resource/urban planning/Geotech/Environemtnal Engineering), 84 in Total . That I think is pretty high number as compared to ( TO What??). Add to that the number of scholarship seat that government gives to study abroad.

More troubling fact to me is this:

"my unscientific survey revealed that almost 25% of those earning master left nepal and migrated to other country" this sometimes makes me think if its money worth spend in education sector.
