Yes I am from sarlai.

I am getting sick and tired of this kind of thread. Anyone from....... what different does it make, which part of Nepal are you from, Biratnagar, Dhankuta, Pokhara or ghattekula, Jawalakhel, Lazimpat o r whatever for that matter. Start a thread that is meaningful.

If you are sick and tired, then don't look at the thread. You don't want to get sick because of this thread. Look at the title, and just do not go into it.
But, this kind of thread is really helping some people with their reunion.

I do agree with wind. You can decide whether to enter into a thread or not just by its heading. If you think that it doesn't worth reading, please do not even bother to enter.

For me, similar thread has helped to regain the conenction with my decade old friends during my intermediate class. Thanks Kurakani...

"Sarlahi" and "Sarlai" sound alike while pronouncing in Nepali ..and they do mean the same place.

BD ko ghar Duradanda or Manjyan or Sundarbazar or Bhotewodar or Parewadanda or Sotipasal or ... Gaf ko sailee herda ta Duradanda ka Dura ka chhorachhori sangai kheleko jasto chha syano ma.

Could I recall all the places in Lamjung? I have been to there once.

I have been to sarlahi during winter holidays. We used to go there almost every year, we had farm there in hazar bigha. We used to visit barahathwa from our farm house, sometimes even went to malangawa.
