Who would have thought ANA convention as a public health hazard ????

Hmmm.....

Most of the Nepalese are exposed to TB pathogens and test positive with Tuberculin test (Montoux).

IF some Nepali may have active tuberculosis, is it possible that TB may be transmitted to young kids who have not been vaccinated with TB and travel abroad, when exposed to big Nepali mass that too in the closed environment?

BTW I did test postive with tuberculin test 8mm (new guidelines) and took preventive medications.

Anyone who received BCG vaccine for prevention against TB always show positive to PPD test regardless of infected or not. To err on the safe side, it is always good idea to take medication, though.

Hi all!
I would like to acknowledge all of you that active tuberculosis is not that danger..... Even you suffer from the tuberculosis, you could get ride of it, if you wold have taken medicine for one year. It is not like aids or cancer......It was danger that time when TB was not cure. BCG vaccine is given some undeveloped countries including Nepal. People from developing countries have not required to take BCG vaccine; in fact, their TB skin test (PPD.) result comes negative. In other words, BCG is kinda viccine contain TB virus, is given to people, so that people from developing country wouldn't worry form active TB people, coz they are reuired to do immunization, once people who had taken BCG need to do x-ray and find out what's going on..... (some of you know if you are public school/college student or green cardholder, ya are requested to do medical exam).

Deal all,
Namaste. Well !!! if you got sick from ANA 2005 Dallas, instead of spending time in writing in Sajha, please spend time finding a doctor so that you can get well before your health get even worse. Thank you.

Blame it on yourself dude, U were there, in a blistering Texan heat, smokin' every freakin' second, holdin' a beer since 5 in the mornin' till the 4 in the mornin', sleepin' 1 hour a day, watchin' freakin' porn in the hotel room 24/3, eatin' nothing but G-smoke and alcohol, not drinkin' any water and jumpin' on a dance floor for 3 fkin' hours, and you come back home and you get infected of some serious shit and you blame it on ANA? eh... That's the last thing I have expected. ehe...

What next? ANA gave me some kinda elevator-lag?? ehe... or ANA gave you crossed eyes coz you were checkin' way too many girls. haaaaaaaaaa
