Mad Man Durgey!
Durga Prasai is a man of many talents, or illegal schemes, or just wants to make money for some of our YouTubey Patrkars, or a fake monarchist, or a shady byapari, depending on if you ate marsi chamal at his home, or got some pocket money, or just hate him to death!
This man gets arrested every other week for speaking from his arse, and with due respect to all Jhapalis, but this man can talk, even if it's gibberish and full of filth. Sometimes, he runs off to Assam, across the border to escape the police, and then comes back and spends some time in jail and then gets bail and runs off his mouth again.
I think if Durga Prasai keeps on his circus act, the Guinness World Records folks will probably put him on their list for being the most arrested man on this planet. Well, who is Durga Prasai? He has his fans because some of us have nothing better to do but use social media to watch him speak stupid stuff every other day. Maybe somebody needs to give this man a TV show so that he can make some money from his own YouTube channel and finally pay off the banks.
Durga Prasai was once involved with the Maoists when he was just another mundrey gunda in Jhapa. It was easy money, extortion, kidnapping, and all illegal acts in the name of I don't know what. We really do not know where he made his money to open a medical school, and he owes our banks a few hundred crores in loans.
Nepal came to know about Durga only when he proudly posted a picture of Prachanda and KP Oli having a nice lunch with Marsi Chamal in his home. He was tight with both comrades and was having all the fun, then things didn't go well, I guess, and he then flipped and began talking badly about his once political lovers.
He then turned up as a monarchist, and now he is trying to portray himself as a savior for all the right-wing Hindu extremists in this country. Yes, I am a proud Hindu, but I, along with most of you, am tolerant of other religions, backgrounds, and all. Durga Prasai knows that we are not having the monarchy back, no matter how much we talk about King Mahendra or the House of Shah.
If Durga Prasai finally shuts up tomorrow and focuses on his work, which might be running his legal and illegal businesses, then maybe he will do us all a favor and most likely make a few dozen YouTubey Patrakars make a few dollars and leave them without any content.
I think our Law Minister should focus on relevant issues and work out new laws and regulations. Don't ban things outright like the previous governments, but come up with clear policies and rules on what is tolerable and what is not when speaking your views on social media. I think it's time to be a little strict on folks who spew venom when they talk about religion, politics, and gender.
I find the Cyber Bureau natak too much. You can't keep arresting every Ram, Shyam and Hari for talking badly about his neighbor. The so-called digital laws we seem to have now are not doing much but trying to prevent freedom of speech, maybe but we cannot allow hate speeches against anyone's religion, sex, or even political and alternative beliefs as well.
Durga Prasai is just another of the clowns we have, who seem to appear on YouTube channels every day and give their views, and some of us believe that they are saying the right stuff, but they are not. Durga, like all of us, has the right to express his views, but not badmouth everyone and try to create unrest in this country just because he enjoys doing that.
And instead of arresting him and letting him go every other week, either the government should file charges and punish him using all legal means, or just ignore him because these weekly arrests just make him a hero for his ignorant hard-core right-wing fans!
