Great news for thousands of hopeful applicants! The United States Department of State officially released the EDV 2026 results on May 3, 2026 (20th Baisakh 2082) at 10:45 PM Nepali time. If you submitted a Diversity Visa (DV) application, now’s the time to check your status.

You can find the result on the official website:
👉 dvprogram.state.gov

To check your result, make sure you have:

Your confirmation number

Your last name

Your date of birth

Follow these steps to check your status:

Go to dvprogram.state.gov

Click on “Entrant Status Check”

Enter your confirmation number

Enter your last name and birth year

Complete the CAPTCHA verification

Click “Submit”

Your result will appear: https://dvprogram.state.gov/

✅ If selected: You’ll receive instructions for the next steps.

❌ If not selected: A message will confirm that you were not chosen this time.

📈 What Makes EDV 2026 Special?
This year’s DV program saw thousands of applicants from Nepal and beyond. The application window was open from October 2 to November 7, 2025. With results now live, many are eager to see if their American dream is one step closer.

Last year, the EDV 2025 results were published on May 4, 2024. As usual, successful entrants are encouraged to follow the guidelines carefully for further processing.
