Is it possible for US citizens to work remotely for a US-based company from Nepal, even if the said company has no presence in Nepal? Have you heard/known anyone who has done this?

Working remotly for how long is the question. If its permanent then those taxes and everything comes into picture . Once you get online visa in nepal , your shared information is recorded . Being us citizen , regardless you work in for nepali company or non nepali company u have to take shram swikriti . Cannot work from nepal in tourst visa

I heard similar story as SIS has mentioned.
Tons of Nepali student arrived in Nebraska , they worked in meat factory at night and some went straight to class after work.
Is it a true story?

I agree with tps2gc here. I think the length of time you would be working from other country would matter in terms of taxes and pay scale. I heard one case where an Indian IT engineer asked his office if he could remotely work for more than 4-5 months from India itself and then his office told him, he may, but then they would pay him in Indian pay scale for his job (that is much lower, of course!). He abandoned that idea for sure.
P.S. Sometimes I wonder how this woman, sexy in sari might look like in real. Must have a ton of issues. Never bothered to change that stinking attitude!! Grow up lady!

"P.S. Sometimes I wonder how this woman, sexy in sari might look like in real."

--> This is not a woman. It's a guy with a mustache and beard.

I learned from " Annihilation of Cast" why people always ask last name. It gives us an idea how to treat them from the very beginning. We have been learning and adapting narcissism every part of our culture.
Every religion look down on women which is part of all religion. America is following their religious leader because they can not win and in power without the religious people.
My heart and mind still roaming around the village and my primary school and write as a village dweller , use words I stll remember which makes me PAKHE. Showing down makes them great and makes them happy.
Where ever they go do not learn the good part of that culture because their past can not move them ahead and can not step out of that mud.
Sajha is full of crappy people and a forum to fulfill their inner ego.
What is in Name? It just a log in name.

There is nothing in a name the first time you log in to Sajha, but after spending 10-15 years in Sajha, your name becomes your introduction, the name will start defining more about you. It forms a character. For example, when we see the post from Underwear, one can easily expect it is about raunchy sex, expletives, frivolous one night stands with lusty women from nowhere. (Apologies to Underwear! No name came to my mind when I thought who could be the best example!)

Likewise, Sexy in Sari has been writing all the time in such a way that defies the gender in social norms. Yes, a girl can talk like a man and showcase a lot of non-chalance, arrogance and what not like a regular man would in normal scenarios. Here Sexy has been doing that for now what 15 years?? Her attitude has always been demeaning on the fellow Sajhaites and she has been throwing taunts and air as if she has been some very gifted Nepalese woman who made it big in America. Yes, I always believed it is a girl and not a boy, but a kind of personality I would not want to associate in my life ever looking at the way she has been writing in Sajha all these years!!

Her attitude has been the same. Demeaning....all about her achievements....success....and disdain for fellow Nepalese in U S of A.

Check this post I wrote on her behalf like 13 years ago!! You will know she has been the most constant factor of Sajha, that you cannot miss.

@Rdm deleted my posting. Well, that's his thread, he can do whatever he wants. The real reason is he can't stand when women giving lectures. That is common in Hindu or Muslim society.

@Bennedict:

My husband don't talk that much, I think that's how men should be. My father hardly talk when women are around. They know how to respect, and how to deal a situation with women.

BUT You guys write a whole history when woman open her mouth.

There she goes again! Need I say anything more?
We all know how dominating you have been in Sajha all along, one can easily imagine your reigning "nature" in your family.
Mind you, It is not called respect, "intimidation" might be the right word.

People who enter and post has in Sajha with full of agenda, crappy and creepy too.
Some of them has account and create new adding "ko Saalo" "ko bhinaju" "ko baaje" " numbers" on existing name.

Sajha become a दंगाल site where people express their frustration mean way to make themself great. With no respect targeted and bring us to their level. I myself started answering to their level knowingly which is not right.
Same person creates couple account and comment to affirm his action, we can see it a group of dingo trying to knocking opponent down.
This is who we are and our act in sajha. Sajha may be a substitute of weed.
