Hi Friends,

I was born in Nepal in 1987 and I need birth certificate. My parents were on a business trip to Janakpur in Nepal during 1987 and they are Indian Citizens and they did not took my birth certificate from the municipality way back in 1987.

Now I am applying for my passport in India and I want to mention birth place as my original birth place which is in nepal. I dont have any relatives in Janakpur to certify that I was born in nepal. My parents are the only proof that I was born in Nepal.

Please let me know how to get birth certificate in this regard. any help is much appreciated.

Nice trick. Almost impossible for you to get birth certificate from Nepal. Forget to get GC faster based on the evidence you were born in Nepal.
If you have any proof from hospital, that you were born in Nepal, that might help... but still it is almost impossible for non Nepalese citizens. Partly because of strict citizenship rules and the new rule which also talks, in some other way, about getting nepalese citizenship based on birth.
Oh yea, if u have a good connections and can pay a huge bribe, nothing is impossible.
