Hi bros,

Could any of you direct me to a link that has proper instructions on filing MRP passport via mail as the Government website seems so confusing(something that is applicable to the current application process)?

Regards,
Sulav

thanks @maxpayne bro. I went over that link but seemed pretty confusing to me. My old handwritten passport has expired and need to apply for new passport. As per the link, Live Enrollment is mandatory for me which i doubt is true? Am i correct? Also, it doesn't even mention photos required.

Call them up. When I did it during the 2015 period, I sent it on the mail. Rules may have changed though.
