Both of us work. I received a note from son's school today informing us that there will be a break for 10 days in his school some time next month. We don't have any vacation days left. What are the options to engage kids in Spring break When parents are working? Your suggestion will be highly appreciated. My boy just turned 5

Perhaps there's a spring camp much like summer camp. Look around, use online forums, call a closeby child care center etc.

Unless it is a very small city, you should be able to find several spring break camps through google. Typically, camps are organized by:
1. YMCA
2. Cities/ Community centers
3. Museums, science centers, drama/theaters, zoos, botanical gardens...
4. Child care facilities may have arrangements to keep school age kids for daily fees
5. Churches and similar christian organizations (they do teach bible, be aware)

If your child's class has a facebook group of parents, you can ask where other kids are going for the breaks. Kids feel comfortable with the kids they already know. Good luck!
