American does not mean white americans
1. Many americans of Indian origion who somehow are not able to pursue higher degree in USA come to India to study, I(f they cant get admission in Medicine in US, their choice will be either carabien countries which run US acridtaed medical courses or India. some of these kids come by choice , some by force ( of rich parrents). after completion they return to US and appear in USMILe test for licence.
2. Some do that for MBA. Parrenst are runn9ing small business, they expect their kids to achive MDA from good University in US but if that is not possible they send their kids to India for MBA, First generation Indians do that. They appreciate Indian education.
3. Some white students are for Art, culture, language and religious study, later they will bercome India specialist in US universities, US government.Some students are for research purpose they are doing Phd in different fields in India.
Looking at the number of Indian Immigrants in US, approx 2000 student studying in INdia is not a big deal.
4. Lots of Indian immigrants in Malaysiia come to India for MBBS, because it is very difficult for Indians to get admission in MMBS unless they are really intelligent. so many Indian immigrants in malaysia send their Kids to India for medical degree. In fact some Nepali Immigrants in Malaysia also do the same. There are about 5000 Nepali immigranst in Malaysia, whose parrenst setteled in malaysia after second world war. they wee in British Gurkha regiment.
