Only 3, 721 signatures needed:

I am not on H1B anymore, but I know this will help a lot of Fellow Nepalese students. I signed it, did you?

petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/allow-h1b-approved-cases-get-visa-stamped-us/LWhMc03b

At the time of approval of H1B petition, USCIS checks for all the documents but still require petioner to visit home country to get Visa stampped on the passport. Due to which most of the H1B skilled workers can not visit back home to see their families as they don't want to take chance/risk. If givernment allows visa stamping in US, it will unite many families who have not seen their parents for long long time as Grean card process takes more than 10 years in case of India/China.

This is still feasible to get to the 30,000 mark.

After the initial 30,000 petitions needed to get the President to make a statement, they have now increased the requirement to 100,000 mainly because of the Deport pierce morgan petition. people need to get their priorities straight.

I signed the petition. Could somebody explain to me the threshold of that 25,000 signatures? Is it  just a goal? I was browsing responses to previous petitions and white house has repsonded to some that are as small as 6000 signatures.

 JPT..
White house tends to change (increase) the threshold from time to time. This petition was created on Jan 8.. by then the response threshold was 25000. Now that's gone up to 100000.

Guchacha Chor,
you are right, The white House did increase the requirement to 100,000 mainly because of the Deport pierce morgan petition. But this was created Jan 8, which only required 25K and we are only about 2K short from its goal to reach to President.
