The chances of getting rejected are pretty high.

One of my friend was in full paying scheme but had to some kind of surgery, so he got permission to work off-campus 20 hrs, but nobody was tracking how many hours he worked actually.

tesko baje so its for the surgery
yes if you have some kind of emergency situation u can apply for that and you can get approved
other than that one can apply for charity from church, they might waive the cost of hospital plus might get some cash allowances too

Thank you guys for your response. Everybody has a different life and everyone has their own stories and struggles. Please do not assume anything from your part since you dont know me personally. But I would like to mention that I am neither lovi, nor I want to go to Euro Vacation nor I am having a surgery.

Anyways I just wanted to know if there was anyone with the experience before I talked to my international student advisor. And like Riddle bro suggested it wont be easy to get the permit but I will explore my options. Thanks a bunch guys.

just go ahead and apply bro ra is helpful but it doesn't cover everything. show how you're having difficulty fulfilling the rest after the ra. i doubt those agents even know what RA means , anyway. i applied for hardship in 2006 stating my family having hardship. i got it withing 21 days. next year i reapplied it again, i copied the same letter and only added all of the above things still apply and i got another renewal until my i20 was valid. then i got a opt after that one. i went to immigration town hall meeting few years back and from what i have heard on that meeting is approval rate is 97 percentage. so win your mon ko bag first and the ban ko bag will no longer be there... and come back and thank me for this suggestion around 3 months from now...
