सबै नेपालीका लागि असैह्य हुने घट्ना

भारतको उत्तर प्रदेशस्थीत गांडा जिल्ला, मनकापुर कोटवाली क्षेत्रको अशरफपुर गाउंमा नेपाली नागरीक उमेश बहादुर मगरलाई त्यहाँका वासिन्दाहरुले चोर भन्दै कुटपिट गरी मारेका छन् ।

ती नेपाली मगरलाई बाहिरबाट आएको चोर भन्ने ठानी लाठी र डंडाले पिटेर मारेका छन् । उमेश मगर मोरङ जिल्ला द्रबेशा गाउँका उदय बहादुर मगरको छोरा हुन् ।

उमेश मगर आफ्ना साथीहरु भरत अधिकारी, प्रेम बहादुर र पदम बहादुरको साथमा गत आइतबार ट्रेनबाट दिल्ली जान लागेको तर पानी लिनलाई टेनबाट उत्रेका थिए, तर फर्केर आउँदा ट्रेन छुनेपश्चात उनी समस्यामा परेका थिए । उनका साथीहरु अर्को स्टेशनमा गएर ओर्ले तर यसैबिच उमेश बिचलित हुँदै मनकापुरको अशरफपुर गाउँ पुगेपश्चात त्यहाँका बासिन्दाहरुले चोर सोचेर उनलाई पिटेका थिए ।

Does it suprise you that no major media outlets in Nepal have picked this news? I hope they do it soon.

Indians claim others as racists and xenophobic, while they are the one of the worst.

I wonder if any of them got arrested; probably none.

hate crime? what is your base for saying so? so far the presented article speculates that Umesh Magar was mis identified as a thief and was beaten to death. The villagers in india seem to be brainless or something more triggered this. so far the given article points it out to be murder but without all evidence and facts presented this remains a mystery. I do personally feel killing someone is wrong and sad as this news is, we should not quickly conclude without learning the entire detail of the story. Personally I do not trust any news media these days.

यू.पी., २० भाद्र । केही दिन अगाडी भारतको उत्तर प्रदेशस्थीत अशरफपुरमा चोर भन्दै कुटपिट गरेर उमेश बहादुर मगर नाम गरेका नेपाली नागरीकको हत्या गर्ने अपराधीहरुलाई त्यहाँको प्रहरीले खोजी कार्य जारी राखेको छ । दैनिक जागरणले जनाएअनुसार भारतीय प्रहरी अधिकारी कृपाशंकर सिंहको टोलीले उक्त क्षेत्रमा पुगी हत्याको बिषयमा अनुसन्धान प्रारम्भ गरेका छन् । उनले अपराधीलाई तुरुन्त पक्राउ गर्न र कानूनको दायरामा ल्याउन त्यस क्षेत्रका प्रहरीहरुलाई कडा निर्देशन समेत दिइएको बताइएको छ ।
