I (F1) started feeling like I’m Sunny Deol as soon as I got into the plane, little aged going back home from US after a decade to get married with the girl that my parents looked for. But I also had a feeling that girl might have a handsome boyfriend like Ranbir Kapoor or whoever... & she has agreed to marry me because to protect her family values & stuff. I was thinking maybe she still holds eternal love for Ranbir Kapoor whom she had been dating for god knows how long? So here I come Kathmandu & was excited to go and meet her. I went to see her and no surprise I was right. I couldn't find the affectionate eyes for me. So I asked her if she is doing it under family pressure, but she denied it. So we went on couple of dates but I didn’t find the connection or the chemistry. So I started researching if Ranbir Kapoor really exists? My null hypothesis would be there is no Ranbir Kapoor. But sadly, I had to reject the null. So found out about this dude  & he is in the band, loved this girl, has a bike, (who doesn’t these days in Nepal?) very romantic, stylish, shoulder length hair, wears Christian audigier(made in china) & I looked at myself, I wear khaki pant with polo shirt tucked in, wear spectacles which add 5 yrs to my life. Then, I started thinking, they make great couple both are young & restless, seems happy together. So I told my mom that this ain't working. She is great girl and he is a great guy. I shouldn't do this. Then I went to her parents talked about it and told them that y'all (my fake texas accent) need to do this for your daughter; not for you & me. I requested them to have them engaged. They weren't happy at first but agreed later on. They were then engaged, I went to the ceremony because we all are somewhat related. Now the Ranbir Kapoor is a big fan of me. He has a high respects and regards for me. Before he will ask for me to be his best man, I changed my flight to earlier date so that I can get the hell out of there. In those times, I kind of started feeling for the girl. Oh my god, her eyes, her lips, her hair... & what else. The first time I saw her, I was impressed, excited, even blushed (lol on this one) & immediately fell in love right then (seriously??). So everything fell apart, heartbroken & sad. Here comes the date of flight back to US. Ranbir Kapoor & herself wanted to drop me off at airport & told me how much they appreciated me. I told them that I don't like to see many people at airport for seeing me off because I really get sad. So the day at airport my mom cried like crazy. I couldn't hold back, cried but somehow hold my tears & told her, “mom, someone somewhere is made for me.” (Really??) Here I go off to the Jet, sat on my window seat & looked outside through the window; heart became heavy, dropped some tears, then I took a deep breath & said WTF!! Somebody next to me nudged me & said “what happened, Budha?” I looked at her like crazy, got confused & soon realized that she is my brand new wife (F2) whom I just married & we are off to the States!!

I hated that flight from Narita-Minneapolis, so f**kin’ long!!

Regards,

Mangale

p.s. Please do not look for any literary work at Mangale’s stuff & sadly, I ran out of my monologues!

Cool.. Loved it.... it just reminded me off a college story : THE ROMANCE OF A BUSY BROKER

http://www.literaturepage.com/read/thefourmillion-127.html

SUPERB !!!  Some lines from story .....

The odour brought her vividly, almost tangibly before him. The world of finance dwindled suddenly to a speck. And she was in the next room--twenty steps away.

"By George, I'll do it now," said Maxwell, half aloud. "I'll ask her now. I wonder I didn't do it long ago."

He dashed into the inner office with the haste of a short trying to cover. He charged upon the desk of the stenographer.

She looked up at him with a smile. A soft pink crept over her cheek, and her eyes were kind and frank. Maxwell leaned one elbow on her desk. He still clutched fluttering papers with both hands and the pen was above his ear.

"Miss Leslie," he began hurriedly, "I have but a moment to spare. I want to say something in that moment. Will you he my wife? I haven't had time to make love to you in the ordinary way, but I really do love you. Talk quick, please--those fellows are clubbing the stuffing out of Union Pacific."

"Oh, what are you talking about?" exclaimed the young lady. She rose to her feet and gazed upon him, round-eyed.

"Don't you understand?" said Maxwell, restively. "I want you to marry me. I love you, Miss Leslie. I wanted to tell you, and I snatched a minute when things had slackened up a bit. They're calling me for the 'phone now. Tell 'em to wait a minute, Pitcher. Won't you, Miss Leslie?"

The stenographer acted very queerly. At first she seemed overcome with amazement; then tears flowed from her wondering eyes; and then she smiled sunnily through them, and one of her arms slid tenderly about the broker's neck.

"I know now," she said, softly. "It's this old business that has driven everything else out of your head for the time. I was frightened at first. Don't you remember, Harvey? We were married last evening at 8 o'clock in the Little Church Around the Corner."
