Nepali arrested in Irving for selling K2 and operating unlicensed game machines
August 16, 2011 – A Nepali store clerk at a Texaco gas station on North Belt Line Road and Northgate Drive was arrested yesterday for selling K2 and operating unlicensed game machines at the store.
K2 is a synthetic marijuana-like substance that has been banned for sale in Texas since April 22, 2011. Under the state law banning possession or sale of K2, anyone found possessing the substance is charged with a Class B misdemeanor which is punishable by up to 180 days in jail and a fine up to $4,000.
It is illegal to operate unlicensed game machines at stores and the store clerk working at the time of raid gets arrested for such offense.
The Nepali store clerk, name not disclosed yet, was a student and is now in immigration custody in Dallas.
No further details about the incident or the clerk could be known.

the owner should be punished and held in detention, why the clerk?

Heard the owner is Korean on that store .... i dont know about that Nepali ..where he study and all but when i heard this news feel so sad for that poor guy...Just pray with God he will not deported

It's been months since this was banned in gas station ....i know it's wrong they got the employer instead of owner but you guys who work in Gas station should know these things specially when it comes to those stuffs which comes under US Laws . Owners won't give shit about anything when they will make you guys work like a horse and pay less even there's way around to make money easily in gas stations. It's been months it was banned and how come those stuffs were stocked well in that gas station .

I know the owner of that store. Once offered me a job too. He is an Afgani asshole. I talked to him few days ago n was telling about this incident. He told me he had a problem with Nepali working there. This dude only thinks about money. If any body wanna cut his balls then m in.
I also heard that the store had already got warning before for selling k2.

Attention people working in gas station. Do not sell stuffs that can put u in these problems. There are some oweners who ask the clerk to sell these products under the counter but still u should go aginst him and tell them that u will be in touble for selling that not him. if he puts u in pressure then just tell the customers that its out right now or come back later or u dont have it anymore. just stay in safe side. dont put yourself in trouble inorder to give your boss some profit.
