Sajha friends, this is just for fun.
let's see how many of us left Nepal in what year? and how old were we when we left the country. Also, how satisfied are we today with our life? Financially, educationally, emotionally? are we proud of what we are today?

i left in 1998, was barely 21. haven't done anything out of the ordinary to be proud of. Financially, and edcationally, i want to do more, but ok right now. emotionally, i miss everything back home. haven't been back since '98. maybe, someday in near future.

Vuttro bro you need to visit back home to feel what you have been missing. I didn't even want to come back here when I visited back home first time. It was just too emotional and then my rational mind kicked in and here I am, I do wonder what if. I have a decent job here and first
time I went back home was after 8 years.

Vuttro_jasto,

This was your reply in one of the previous threads,

"wisesoul, u may wanna check your gender to make sure either u'r full male, or female. since u'r father is a male, and u'r mother is a female, u may  be half male, and half female. however, there's a good news. u can [Disallowed String for - bad word] u'r self in the a$$ whenever u want. "

Reading your comment, it makes me believe you haven't garnered anything in United States, most importantly- a quality education, and the fact that you are 33 now (unless you came in 2008 and lied about it) you could have displayed a little maturity even when this platform is for anynymous trolls.

So here is my take, if you've been here for 13 years, yet haven't visited Nepal, you still are struggling with your immigration status. Besides, I already spoke of your education and maturity.

It only makes me feel you are a highly dissatisfied individual. Criticisms are welcome, and I know you wouldn't leave a stone unturned cursing me, which again makes me question not just your maturity, but also your upbringing as well.

Peace..LOL.

behoove_me and abodhbaalak, i don't like to blow my own horns. but, since u asked for it, let me start off by saying that i am pretty satisfied with my life here in the States. i've worked hard like any other nepalese who came here as a student. i've had different low level work, that i'm not ashamed of(gas station, grocery store, McDonald, restaurant etc. just to name a few). i have maxed out all the credit cards to finish my school( that is what my goal was when i came here).i have partied and got wasted like any other hard working international student. i've had A's, B's and even C's in my grades. i've worked in a fortune 500 company making financial gains. and so on and so forth. about not going back to nepal in 13 long years, it was my choice, not because of my immigration status. as of now, i'm happily married with a beautiful loving family. i work for no one. i'm an enterpreneur. i'm my own boss, and i make plenty for my self and to help the needy.
about being mature, i 'm sure i have matured enough not to come to any social media and whine about u'r nationality, or any othe topics like the ones u emphasised about earlier. u wanna do something, or u'r not happy about what's happening back home, don't just come here and complain about it, go back there and do something. don't try to come up with some pitiful topic to discuss with, and collect the sympathies.  u two must feel matured and superior than me. so what? go screw u'r self. peace out

Vuttro bro,

With all due respect, you can blow your horns as much as you like, it is at someone else's discretion to believe it or not. Hell, if you are an enterpreneur, I am Bloomberg's nephew. Also, you might be a busines owner or an employee, I care least, I am only speaking of your 'approach' while replying to others, the level of profanity, and most importanly your 'pseudonym' that makes every words you type not seem credible.

I do not want to rant over what I do or how long I've been here, but I've seen hordes of people working for fortune 500 company. They switch jobs every six months, from GE to Pfizer to Merill Lynch; even VMware and google. They are called consultants with fake resumes in business lingo incase you are not aware (or maybe you are - very well). While I have all respect for their work, doing what they do isn't a rocket science. Therefore, I give a rodent called rat's rear end to what they brag about doing.

Now speaking of being an entrepreneur, I have seen more who own service stations, catering services, restaurants and many other business which, perhaps gleans a little more revenue, but then it confines you to the (pardon my language) semi-blue collar category. You could claim you perhaps own a ritz carlton or a construction company, but then again, I could always choose not to believe you.

Speaking of 'screwing', I just did unscrew a cork off a champagne bottle last week on my corporate retreat, do you know what that is? LOL.

I am certain you are satisfied with what little or more you must have achieved; I am too. But the difference between you and me is, you choose to feign your satisfaction among vile, prejudice, profanity and enmity. I choose to live my satisfied life amid wisdom and knowledge.

Peace.

vutro: you are an enterpreneur and haven't visited home even once in last 13 years?! i'm wondering, why? what makes you do that? or what enables you to do that? see, i'm a college student, been here for 2 and half years and i've been home once already eventhough i don't have money for school. you are either making up things saying that you've been here for 13 years and bla bla bla or your brain is seriously fked up.
