Travel suggestion via India
Hello guys,
I am planning to travel to Nepal soon. Anyone has any idea if I take return flight to USA via India, will there be any problem. The return flight will be ktm to USA via Delhi as first transit and hongkong as a secong transit.
Will my luggages be sent directly to USA ? Any idea/ suggestions appreciated.
Thanks!
Now they are more profession than before and do not hesitate to travel via India.
I have travelled through delhi on my round trip. They dont give you any problems. .. Just make sure you have a lounge booked if u have a long transit. Coz, u may not like the people aound the airport.
I will never understand why nepalese traveller makes big deal about travelling via India. In my experience they are way better professional than what nepalese workers are at TIA. If you can handle Nepali Bhansar and Immigraton officers at TIA you can handle all airports in the world and yes that includes Delhi. So stop bragging about Delhi. If you do not believe, do the thing that makes you happy !!!
I had a transit in Delhi and even stayed there for 2 days at my friends' place before returning US. There was no problem at all. When entering I forgot my friend's address and told them he is going to pick me up and they let me in after few normal questions...
One warning is -"DON't eat anything at the airport.... Had a hard time for a couple of hours during the flight..."
And Don't put any electronics or any watches in your luggage, some of my friends lost their watches and cameras while we were travelling through india. Other than that long transit would be pretty hard if you have no company.
What makes you to belive that it was lost in India and not in Nepal or any other transit location for that reason?
I do not know for sure. They had our luggage for 13 hours or even more in India so it was more likely that the item was lost in India, It might have been Nepal. The main point was "not to put electronic appliances in luggage" .
