Acura RL 2003 $7.5 K is it a good buy?
2003 Acura RL
Leather, 6 CD Boss Sound.
81000 Miles
Outside inside is clean and color is good
Needs around $300 brake and alignment work
private party seller
asking $7500
is it a good buy?
I the price included for shipping cost too? Just kidding . Which city you are in? Can you sellf for 5K? How long you have been owned?
I wanted to buy that car, the car owner wants $7,500. Just wondering is it a good buy.
I thought you are the one selling for it. Still you did not mentioned the city.
Do not forget to check car fax, mileage sound good for the year , l it is easy to put used low mileage audometer for 35- 40 dollars . If it has constructive or salvage title, do not suggest to buy.
Ask the seller he may tell you if it has clean title or not.
I live in dallas, The car has clean blue title, the seller had two cars and used this car very less, so the mileage is accurate. Wht do you think about the price?
Edmonds used car value shows over 8000, it is 3.5 v6 engine, does not give you over 22 miles per gallon and may be less in summer due to airconditioning.
If it is Dallas and has 2 other car, he may not be telling the truth, because if he is buying and selling car, it may not be worth of that price.
It ownd by a responsible person , and person who has been taking care of it then the price is okay still you have to invest on brake and allignments. You need to make sure it was just those reason not more. A responsible driver will keep these maintainance update while he or she drives. I am suspecting that he is telling the truth.
Around 100K miles you have to replace timing belt as well the water pump , both goes the same place , which may cost you around 6-7 hundred depending where you will be taking.
Ask him how long you have been driving it ? If every thing is in order it is worth it but how you going to make sure it is not a troubled car? You need to find it before you finalise. Pay 50-100 to a mechanic and get assurance.
Good buy... but try to bargain little more.... but its a go... check on the current condition of the car.
