As long as you are watching it online, there won't be problems. Don't download movies. I believe you have greater chance of getting virus than than getting sued over piracy. u can download the movies using torrents.
First one is the safest one.. Online movie herda u do "Streaming" and it will download by ftp so nobody can track ur ip address.
But, if you download my torrent, it will be p2p download so, they can easily track ur IP address and they can find u. But there are many ways to hide ur ip. I usually use TOR which helps me to mask my ip so that they cant track me. Torrent ko faida ke ho vane, u have a lot of movies and all for free. U can even download blue ray version of the movies. So i always prefer torrent. I ve been using torrent to download TV serials, songs, games, movies, etc ... ahile samma kehi ni vako chaina .. (but never download a PORN from p2p, sure virus lagcha, be careful).

RIAA and MPAA have been constantly dealing with illegal downloads of copyrighted music/movies (Torrents and so forth) which is a federal felony and is subject to wiretap by the FBI and actions thenafter if found guilty.
And now the administration is looking forward to making illegal streaming of content(music/movies) subject to violating the copyright law and deeming it a federal felony.
Just a piece of advice, better be safe than sorry if you're in the US.

@subasini, Sleepless and other guys are talking about downloading movie and making copies but to watch movies you dont have to download. I am watching since 3-4 year using same internet but nothing happended to me !!
You can just simply watch movies without downloading which is safer and better option.

Anyone who sells, acquires, copies or distributes copyrighted materials without permission is violating the law.
The internet is very transforming in the way people watch movies. 5 years back, you would have to download content and watch it since streaming was not a possibility because of your connection. But now, with higher last mile bandwidth, streaming HD is even possible. That doesnt mean streaming copyrighted material is legal, and downloading is illegal. Both are subject to wiretaps and when they decide to come to you, they look for proofs. They will already have enough from your service provider and their wiretaps. However they might check your devices too. For downloaded materials, they might check your hard drives. Deleted files are still marked as deleted on your hard drive. Not completely wiped away. Remember, streaming leaves traces on your computers too. It will download the content and buffer it while playing. Technically unless you really know how to wipe it off completely, you might be in trouble denying that you acquired it.
I am not scaring you or anything. This is a very broad issue and many people stream content legally/illegaly or without knowing. However, there is always a possibility you might get caught and fined if you keep your activities to high.
There are many movies that are legally viewable from many streaming websites. Netflix has an awesome collection, so does Hulu/Youtube and other websites that stream legal content. Or just pay few dollars now to save yourself a lifetime saving later.

Watching movie online and downloading movie(as you said to save and make copies) are two different thing bro! I know u have to download while watching movie also but u don't have to save while watching so there is no problem of virus and copyright issue !!

Thank you guys.. I used to watch a loads of movie a 6mths before but when i took Engl 1301 i had to write an eassy about illegal downloading and watching movie, songs anything. I googled every single thing after that i m afraid to watch movie. Even some of the video on youtube is illegal to watch but not sure (this information is not sure). Thats why i got netflix but i guess i have addiction to watch new movies. Netflix doesn't have any new movies. I have to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks or more to watch new movies if it didn't become blockbuster otherwish i have to rent it...thats why i put this thread so you people can help me or others who will read this thread...

As much as I appreciate your confidence Amricane, I'd like to see how you came to a conclusion that streaming (watching copyrighted online movies) is legal?
Also when you say no virus that's entirely wrong. A virus can be embedded on a flash object that is your movie viewer.
Just to put things in perspective before you go "Then, Why am I not caught yet?"
As an end user, you are considerably more safer since they have bigger offenders to crack first and their copyright law wasnt clear enough earlier for them to start the prosecution. White House recently issued a white paper with the changes related to streaming content they have been seeking for (clarifying whats felony and what not - http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/ip_white_paper.pdf). For example, users from websites like ustream.tv, justin.tv who broadcasted copyrighted content to millions of viewers. They were basically streaming feeds. Now they are subject to the law.
Another thing for the end user- you usually get a warning letter from the MPAA stating what you watched, when, and how that breached the law. Then, they will keep you on monitoring if you are a repeat offender.
So if you are one of those Internet rebels, watch whatever movies, be safe from viruses and just dont get caught. Or else, if you are a movie lover like me, show some appreciation for the movie-makers and go to theatres and pay for those movies. For everything else where I dont have to worry about streaming copyrighted content or where these copyrighted content are permissible for viewership - there is so much to choose from netflix / hulu / youtube / epix / vutopia / on-demand channels / premier movie channels and many more.

as u might have known by now, Zediva is one excellent service playing on loophole with streaming new released DVD's before Redbox and a lot before Netflix, and it offers 10 for $10 or 1.99 each . so in bulk its cheaper .
To me, Zediva and Netflix (and Redbox occasionally) gives almost all movies I want to watch........and for really my type movie I go to theatre.......
and I am considering ditching netflix and going amazon prime, a little cheaper and added advantage (free 2-day shipping)
