what do you guys thing about this car
Lexus 1999 ES300
odometer says 197000 miles
but the engine has been swaped and currently has 80000
clean title, good mechanical and cosmetic condition
Asking $4800 may come down to $4500 or lower.
If you put 80K miles that is dealer price and for 190k is way less. It does not gives you more than 19 miles per gallon and in long run you will be paying more gas money.
Once you drive a luxurious car you will not go for regular car. But the price is little high for the mileage on the dash board. You know , jhatingare will give you more advise about car because he bought a nice car, I am just a bargain hunter who will be looking for a 2002 neon for 500 ( due to rain could not go for road test) while it was asking for 1200.

bhojpure is not entirely wrong. Even though the car has new engine, remaining parts of the car has basically 197000 miles. This car cannot be estimated based on its actual mileage value of 197000 or 80000. Its somewhere in between. I don't think the owner will sell for $3000 but as a buyer offering a price of $3000 is not a bad idea. With some negotiations I think $3300-$3700 would be the fair price of the car and obviously the final price would be determined after having a test drive.
I don't know why but I am just hooked to Lexus. I just test drove one 1998 Lexus ES300 with $125000 miles on it. It was really nice. I offered $3900 which is the low private party value of the car.

Maile ta tyo car ko barema kei bhanekai ta chaina...mero car durghatana bhayo( remember Toyota camry 2003 xle, with 83000 miles and used to run smooth), yehi mauka ma bigreko bhatritwo sudharu bhanera matra ho... Hi Nepali Ko chhoro, Its is much mailes and old Lexus I wanna suggest you not to buy. It is cheep but its parts is very expensive and servicing as well. I recomand you Japanese car.

in my area i haven't been able to find a better deal than this. shusi_chef, Lexus is a Japanese car not American as you might think. Its the luxury brand of toyota motor company. If driven and maintained well they easily go to over 200000 miles. Thats why I am looking for a female driven car, they maintain and drive the cars better than aggressive males.
