Hi guys, I need some help from experts of photography. I know i have seen some time back few threads on photography and finally i have decided to buy a entry level SLR camera. Although I have done some research i still wana hear from u guys.

My budget is around 800 $. I am mostly interested in action and landscape photography.

There are so many technicial things i have to care so i am lil confused being just an amatuer.

I know this is goona big a investment so I wana make sure i get the best i can with the bucks i have. Plz feel free to give comments.

Originator of this thread has disgusting nick.  It means "rapist" in Nepali.  I hope you did not mean it that way, otherwise you are one sick mofo.

For action and landscape photography ..well you have be more worried about lens than the camera body.

Most of DSLR bodies can handle fast action and does have great pixel resolution for landscape photography but it's the lenses where it counts most.

For action you need a lens with pretty fast focus capability..many lenses are pretty bad at doing it and have tendency to "hunt".

For landscape photography you will need wide lens from 24-mm to 10mm or wider. Wide lenses are somewhat expensive than normal (50mm) lenses.

buy canon xsi or any new entry level model (body only) and 50mm 1.8 EF (cost around 100 bucks). this is the cheapest combination to get best pictures.don't go with kit lenses. kit lenses fare okay during day but you'll get disappointed under low lighting condition.
