I think the original people from Kathmandu should take control of the country. When I say "original" that means shrestha, pradhan, rajbhandari, joshi are not included. Shrestha's and Pradhan's came from india during Rana rule and Shrestha was pronounced "Shresta" not shrestha. They mixed up with Newars in Ktm during that period and now people think that they are also Newars. Shresthas and Pradhans are NOT NEWARS.
So who are the original people from Kathmandu ? They are Maharjan, Manandhar, Malla, Dangol, Singh, Shakya

Few posters enjoy playing on the inter caste insecurities that is deeply rooted amongst many of us. We need to rise above and beyond these insignificant instigations and provocations that are meant to antagonize and aggravate the castist insecurities that is imbibed within us by the society we grew up in.
We are sum total of our own personal abilities and any success these instigations get in arousing our wrongful senses only help to fuel the fire of our dissent and differences to separate us. We Nepalese are a helpful bunch as we can see by many helpful threads within and beyond sajha. We need to stop being defensive at these provocations. Only when we can laugh at these intolerant instigations will we be able to rise above the castist environment that is promoted by few individuals or groups that benefit by breaking up the Nepalese into separate groups.
Let's simplify this here...
The volume of threads, dissent, complaints going around that "Bahun ruined the country" alone tells us that there's a truth in it.
Otherwise, there should be also other threads and comments like "this or that group spoilt the country". But there are very minimal of such comments.
Always the threads and complaints are related to bahuns and that they ruined the country and they are going to sell the country and they care none others than themselves.
So there's a truth in this thread as well. You cannot deny it.. it's genetics as well.. you have inherited the traits from your parents.. So Bahuns are esponsible for the chaos in Nepal.. they are in the front, they are leading the mass... the leader is bad.. bahuns are bad.. we have to admit this. Even we agree that others are not smart.. then what's the use of "SMARTNESS" of bahuns if they bring pain to the Country and its fellowmen?????

Kathmandu, October 4: About 25,000 Nepalese girls are involved in commercial sex in Indian cities, with Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata being the top destinations for traffickers, a new survey has claimed.
The estimate, however, is lesser than that projected earlier by many non-governmental agencies, who had put the number of Nepalese sex workers in India at more than one lakh, Nepali girls traffick recorders who presented the report at an interaction programme held here on 'Media activism for support to prevent trafficking in women and girls in Nepal,' said.
Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata are the major destinations for girls trafficked from Nepal, the report said. The survey conducted by them found only 50,000 sex workers in the four cities and among them only 14,350 or about 29 per cent were Nepalese women.
India's sex market is the main reason behind Nepalese women and girls being trafficked there. The study also revealed that in Pune alone about 50 brothels are owned by Nepalese women, in which 500 Nepalese girls are allegedly involved in sex trade.
