I have USB cable and software too that I got from motodev website but still can't transfer files and address book from my motorola phone.

I don't have a memory card, just have SIM and phone memory..

go to verizon store. pay $10.00 and have them transfer it to whatever  you want.[1]

You need either Motorola Phone Tools or MobilEdit.  The process is very straight forward with either program.[2]

Mobile Phone Tools is also available pretty cheaply on eBay or Amazon.com. There is a "trial version" of MobilEdit. [2]
