Hey frens,
Does anyone have been to nepal for Visa stamping. If yes, than what are the response by embassy, what kind of questions were asked by them. I am going on Nov so collecting information for that .. please help
Pending h1b or pending visa stamping?
if pending visa stamping, could you please share your scenario.
I have an appointment in Mexico for Jan 15th.
I recently visited Nepal and got my H1-B visa stamped in Kathmandu. The lady at the embassy only asked me if I had to pay anything for my H1-B petition (Answer: No). She asked me if I am getting my pay on time (Answer: Yes). She did not even look at any of the documents I had with me except for the I797 ( approval letter from CIS). That's about it. The whole interview lasted for about 2 minutes. Good luck.
1. when did you graduate?
2. when did you start working?
3. which field are you working on?
4. Annual salary?
Checked my I797, LCA and I129 bundle.
Thanks Thote and Serail bro,
how soon can you schedule your interview?
I'm leaving on dec 23 and have to get back by jan 14, is it possible to get an appointment within that time?
Is there a way to schedule an appointment sooner?
On monday - I submitted forms DS156 and DS157 at Nabil bank and gave me date for Thursday morning at 8. But this was on mid october so no students applying - so less crowd.
tech guy - you will be fine within that time frame. Get the documents ready and get the date as soon as possible and one more thing get the labour sticker on your passport after you get your H1B stampped from labour department at baneshwor, other wise at airport you will have tough time. Good Luck
I am also leaving on the 24th of Dec for Nepal and need to have H1B stamped. Is there any way I can make an oppointment interview through ONLINE? OR I have to go through Nabil Bank?
you have to fill the form online and print but you have to go through Nabil bank for getting oppointment interview
did you appear the interview. Please share your experience.
