unlike kirats and magarats gurungs got no place in nepalese history..it is widely believed that gurungs started to arrive in nepal in early 13th century from tibet.I dont have exact figure of gurung population in nepal but once a gurung from mechi and one from mahakali meet they start saying "ngolo" ( solti) to each other and start telling others that they are relatives LOL. amazing act of segregated and downtrodden community.

ek@l - i was talking about knowning people who are gurung who are using sajha okiee... well hope yu  know waht i meant to say there are loads of threads where you get to join the nepali group and where yu get to have nepali fight too....
