i know i cant believe it but i guess most ppl we contact are ppl frm kath or city area who are in school or have some professional job so ppl who would want mao to win would not be them. and if i was poor and living in some village where there was pretty much nothing happeing and mao came and said all that stuff and that they would change my fate then i would vote for them too u know.

i just hope it doesnt become like a dictatorship or anything cuz thats wht ppl fought for to get rid of the king and now prachanda. as long as they are democratic

Whatever might have been and whatever the political parties might have done , I am now sure Nepal will be another Zimbawe under Rbert Mugabe. I have noticed that earlier belief of getting UML's strong position is almost shattered. All pundits who forecasted election result reading kantipur news and blogs etc. are to be proved greatly wrong. I say this as the result of manipulated news. It was Prachanda blaming journalists before election, but now I feel, he was vehemently true. The generation who depended on online news to observe and opine nepalese politics are greatly misguided. They didn't know the ground truth and were unable to anticipate political dynamics. Gyanendra's political observation was wrong due to his chamchas, and he ended up taking wrong steps, Online news readers suffered worse than that. Don't you think so? Otherwise what made many people believe so much that maoist is unpopular among voting population?

ya doomsday not that far especially when we see all those republican/ federalism shit grabbing the votes...

besides maoists, whats interesting is, except to Prakash Man Singh among declared winners, people like narahari and krisha situaula, ‘maoists’ within congress, are leading and so is the situation all over terai...all the separatists are riding high!

i dont think it will be like zimbabwe. because zim have so many natural resources so the govt can make alot of money selling them and raise a huge army working for them. so they can really suppress  ppl but in nepal its different u have to get money frm ppl and if ppl are not happy u cant maintain power.
