Yeah, I read the whole article some time ago and they described how the porters had to carry the cars into KTM since Neapl didn't have roads linkign the borders to the capital as yet...WTF?? They even had the pics there to support this crap...All in all, a great pic! The business in KTM was so bad, that the showroom today is in a state of oblivion (I guess once the the Japs took over, it really was over)
Sukra Path, better than new one.
Same Sukra path later on..

Marconi,
Really great pics, makes everyone nostalgic. Since you posted the pics in different thread, they have dispersed. So its better to upload them in an album in ramjham or put them in a file sharing website.
I had seen some of the pics in Patan Museum in mid 90's. They were taken by an Austrian tourist Dr. Kurt Boek in around 1900 AD. They were brought from a museum in Vienna, Austria. Patan museum was built with assistance from the Austrian government. The pics of Tundikhel, Ranas crossing Bagmati river in Sankhamul were some of the pics in that collection. There were pics taken in 1995 taken from the same places also which were displayed side by side to give a glimpse of the difference.
I loved those pics so much. Now you have made them available in the web, which is appreciable. Keep uploading, keep sharing!
Marconi,
You posted very nice old photos. How did you get these all in one collection. There is no copyright protection. Why dont you put your name ?Anyway you have nice collection and thanks for sharing. I would come to view those if you organize a exhibition in houston. ki kaso?
