This song, though left far behind in the annals of music history, reminds me of my own big break. If you know what I mean.
The Four Seasons - December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)
I am not that old..so as everything in the depiction to match perfectly with my own bed resume.
But ponder over the lyrics. The expressions and the possible meaning could be:
"..What a night..", --> She must have blown his brains out.
"..Sweet Surrender..", -->She must have been a Ms Congeniality and a very compliant
"..Got a funny feeling when SHE WALKS.." -->The next morning he must have watched her walk in a unusual way toward the bathroom.
"..It might have been too soon.."-->The lyricist was pretty young when that happened.
All in good humor!
yo tm, joe cocker's avid fan eh? :D
