jeere khursani...your thread should have been titled..."Nepal desh ko bijog"....this is the culture we are developing and promoting in the name of "Anti-Monarch" sentiment...but I fear this same culture is taking us in the path of anarchy. The new generation of Nepal is growing up with a view that everything should be done with power and force. There is no existence of Law and order and the Judicial system is insignificant. There is a wide spread feeling that taking the law in our own hand is justified and every Nepali today seems to rationalize these kind of barbaric activities and they seem to praise the act instead of deemeaning it. We are developing a culture of inhumane, barbaric emotion which will furture deteroriate the situation as I said in one of the thread before "YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW". Jai Nepal.

Local activities of the eight parties attacked the leaders and cadres of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Nepal), a pro-King party led by Rabindra Nath Sharma, in eastern Jhapa district. Hundreds of eight-party cadres led by the Maoists stormed into a gathering of RPP-Nepal in Birtamod Thursday afternoon and beat up at least half a dozen RPP-Nepal supporters. They also tried to manhandle party's chairman Sharma, but he escaped unhurt, according to reports. Former royalist minister Tek Narayan Rajbansi, Jhapa District Development Committee's former chairman Rajendra Lingden and former DDC vice-chairman Rohit Ranbansi, former mayor of Mechi Nagar Municipality Kalyan Khadka and party workers Bhupendra Lingden and Sagun Lawati were among those injured in the attack. Randradra Lingden and Lawati who were seriously injured in the incident have been brought to Dharan for treatment while others are undergoing treatment at a local hospital. The eight-party activists took them under control, blackened their faces and forced them to march around the town, reports added. Following the incident, police escorted Sharma and his wife to the district headquarters Chandragadi. Local eight-party activists chanted slogans against RPP-Nepal and the monarchy when Sharma was being driven to Chandragadi for safety. In the past, RPP-Nepal leaders and supporters had come under attack whenever they tried to organise public gatherings. nepalnews.com mk Mar 15 07

Although I was never a Royalist before, I am now beginning to get a sense that there was more law and order during the King's rule than in the current so called 'democratic - multi party' rule. This is Anarchy, and this should be stopped before it takes root in our country.

Most of parties Young cadress are involving such activites like tod phod, dhunga muda and fighting and so on. They don't know good politics and the meaning of democracy. They only know such act in the name of democracy. It is a not a democratic pratices and it is kind of anarchy and barbaric rule in the 21th century. And it is shame for Nepali. What kind of system we have. Yeah, These pro-royalist leader are very bad and they did bad politics . But they should be beaten and humilation in this way. It is a jungali culture ,it was vanish in beginning of 19 th century from most of the countries , but we are seeing in Nepal. Shame...If such culture is going on and government don't care about this ...then the dream of real democratic Nepal will not come true. ..Stop such barbaric act...

deshbhaktanepali: You are absolutely right..who the hell those cadres are to take the law and order in their hands? I am not a pro-royal..I am a democrat...but I strongly condemn the action taken by anybody other than law. Lets establish the rule of law...

Political parties in Nepal have already embraced politics based on violence. More you disobey laws, vandalize properties, threaten or kill political opponents, better you have a chance of becoming successful in politics. Its ridiculous, these same political leaders, who even don't know what actually democracy is, are promising to build a democratic Nepal. You can't expect democracy from them without being a fool.

Every once a while when I visit this website I have to read some awful statement by “So Called Literary in Nepali Society”, the thread entitle: Rajabadi ko bijog...hera hera k huna lagyo desh ma. I wonder why these people are falling behind King in every breath of their life. K Nepal ma aaheeley Raja ko Mattrai Bijok Bhaya ko cha ta? Almost each of those 28 million people is under threat in each step of their life. You even can’t imagine when you gonna attack, you even don’t know whats gonna happen tomorrow. I don’t understand what kind democracy in Nepal. If we think about those (So Called Democrat) leaders a decade ago and if we evaluate them today in terms of their property and nature towards their responsibility, it is 10 times more corrupted, sadist, opportunist, raping the country in every aspects of their benefit. There are more than 100 leaders who deserve life time jail; there are more then 1000 cadres who deserve death penalty, and there are more than 10000 followers who deserve life time pain who always encourage those spam in doing rotten things just for their minimum personal benefit. I guarantee no nation in the world will even get the democratic air unless and until people fully give-up their poor mentality, personal benefit and positive attitudes towards others. How long we keep this vandalism, how long one nepali kill another nepali, how long we burn tire in the street, how long we protest against the king and his followers? “I forgot to mention earlier, the above said statement is not in favor of King rather for Peace”. This is what I think personally. “Kudos to New Nepal”

Again, Nepal is going through a complete mess. This is not a democracy. Janaandollan II was not for this kind of anarchy. This is a slap in the face of who want true democracy and restoration of human right in Nepal.

Those who opposed Maoists entering the parliament with guns and supporting this incident. Double standard? If you support the rule of law, stick with it no matter what!
