"He who falls in love with himself will have no rivals" -- Benjamin Franklin

you've unraveled the optimistic side of the quote, GI. i was just wondering, if loving oneself is being 'self-centered'... in which case, you won't have others to claim on the things you love because you love ONLY you and no one and nothing else? to make this simple:
say A loves B
C loves B.
So, A and C could be rivals since both of them love same person/thing.
on the other hand,
A loves himself and no one else.
B loves A-----> A gives a damn
C loves B----->C gives a damn
since A is self-centered, he is happy with himself. so C gets the love of B he deserved?
and A and C will have no rivalries?....So A is all alone without friends or foes?
hahahahaha...sounds like a triangular love story ghisapitawala :P

Guys dont mind my 2 cents, I m just in a jolly mood today. Here is my best explaination:
1) The tongue like a sharp knife... Kills without drawing blood :: Oral Sex
2) He who falls in love with himself will have no rivals :: Mastrubation
He he
.
alrite here comes one!
Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow
"The tongue like a sharp knife... Kills without drawing blood"
Hmmm...interesting. Mortal wounds heal. Emotional wounds sometimes don't (well, we dont allow them to, but that's a different story), which is why a tongue can be more lethal than a sharp knife.
band-rupi sabda prahaarr...hehehee..reminds me of my slc days
Ok this is fun. "He who falls in love with himself will have no rivals"
Once you are enamored of yourself, you feel no envy or jealosy towards others. No feelings of inadequacy => no need to prove yourself to or compete against others.
Looks like Loote has been watching too much of Hindi movies these days :-P
