MDF is extension for MS SQL Server database file. Normally one SQL Server Database has two file one with MDF extension and another with LDF . . . for the log.
I don't know about the CXT file
Goodstuff is right...SQL database file has mdf and log file extension..if u want to open a mdf file attach it to the sql server..The easiest way will be attaching through enterprise maanger.. it will be attached as a database. then u can use database to query,insert or update the records... Never heard about CXT......
you right do_not...
Never heard about CXT on SQL server on 2000. Maybe, new stuff in 2005 but not sure.
CXT is the file extension for the Macromedia Director file.
A .cxt file is protected so that it cannot be opened in the authoring
environment.
the cxt is a protected version of a cst.
it's a library of media for the dir file.
cxt = runtime
cst = authoring
the dir you are opening is attempting to open a cst as an authoring asset.
what it's finding is the protected version, the cxt.
in order to open the dir successfully, with all original assets, you'll need
to locate the unprotected files, the cst files.
