Dear San, On the behalf of Nepalese student Association, Mobile, Alabama, this afternoon i have posted a thread "Grand Spring Fest at USA" informing what we did and what we are planning to do for spring fest, 2006. We have also sought for help to get some costumes for our cultural program from Nepalese residing in USA. But UNFORTURNATELY to our UTTER DISSAPONTMENT this thread got disappeared and most probably surprisingly deleted within some hours of its existence. We see trivial threads hanging around for long time but thread like ours gets deleted in couple of hours. I am confident that Mr. San will come up with resonable explanation and would continue to provide his podium for our Nepali community from Mobile to introduce us and to seek help from Nepali from across the glob. Eagerly looking forward to hearing from you Mr. San. Thank you.

Nut whenever you can't find your posting, click on "My Home" link which will have a list of postings that you posted. Looks like you posted in usergroup 'Music/Movies/Entertainment'. If you post in a different usergroup you will not find it when you search for it in Kurakani. Mr.Lonely, thanks for showing the link to the 'lost' posting. Best Wishes

Thank you, Mr. Lonely for providing the link. I still wonder why this thread does not appear in the Kurakani section. I appreciate your generous help in providing the link but i still don't know how you could get the link of my thread that I was not and I am not being able to see it in the kurakani (unless you are administrator in charge !). I searched for the thread in Kurakani thoroughly but I could not find it anywhere. We want this thread to be appeared in the Kurakani section so that other sajhaties could read the message and probably would extend their support and assistance that we are looking for at this time. Anyway, I am also once again keeping the content of my previous thread here. Dear Friends, We are going to represent Nepal in the upcoming spring festival, April 5th through April 7th, 2006 at the University of South Alabama (USA). We have great opportunity to show our rich Nepali customs and culture to Americans and to more than 100 other international communities. In spite of our relatively short history of involvement in such activities with USA, Nepalese Student Association (NSA) has been a formidable competitor and has since then consistently given a tough notch to giant nations like Indian, Japan, Vietnam and Pakistan, be it in Cricket tournament, Soccer games, international food festivals, fashion shows and dance competitions. In the previous year, we were able to get second best international student organization for the overall activities, stood next to Indian leaving behind other 98 nations! This year, we are hopping to get the best international student organization and to insure that we need support, suggestions and best wishes from Nepalese residing all over the United States and beyond. Now, we have formed all the necessary groups to participate in individual events and we are fortunate that lots of students came forth and have offered to extend their voluntary participations. We are immensely thankful to them. This year, we are participating in Talent show including Dance competition, Fashion show. The biggest of all events- Stall Exhibition has been the center of attraction for all and NSA has always been able to exert remarkable presence of distinct Nepali culture and customs. Last year we erected Swayambhunath stupa and inside the stipua were mini Nepal. Our biggest success was felt when NBC 13 News crew covered the events from our stall! Also recently, we are able to donate a few hundred dollars to Pranav Dhakal’ treatment in Wichita, KS. Please, visit our website (www.usouthal.edu/nepal/) for more information. This time around, we are actively working on installation of Hindu temple in the Exhibition stall and a mini Nepal inside it. We are seeking for your generous participation, support and suggestions. Besides that, we desperately need some typical Nepali dresses/costumes representing indigenous Nepali Himal, Pahad and Tarai men and women. We will greatly appreciate any sajhaties or sajhaties involved in their respective Nepalese organizations if they could assist us in providing those costumes or information/address to get the costumes. We will bare the expenses involved in shipping. Thank you. Nepalese Student association (www.usouthal.edu/nepal/) University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama, USA.
