hey folks, me back again with this new thread,"pressure cooker". I was cooking "dal" the other day in my apartment and was using this pressure cooker that i brought from nepal. I remember when i was a kid my mom always used to cook rice and dal in that and i liked that "sitti". he hehe, hasnt it become one of our most important household "bhada"?? I think most of us here in US still have pressure cooker with us :D.

Dal bhat hoina ajkal pressure cooker bhaneki 9 outta 10 tyams BOMB huncha. Amost synonym bhaisakyo. Chokta khanu gaki budi jhola dubera mari bhanthe. Khai ke ho ke. I never owned a Pressure cooker in U.S. Ummm 4-5 mahina chai chalako chu kahile kahi. Beinging pressure cooker from Nepal re. LOL. Damn, are you serious? Hahahah, kya topic cha la. yeah i am serious, 4 out of 5 nepalis i have known have pressure cooker here with them and they brought that from nepal. u admitted u have used a p. cooker too . anyways they are easy to use and saves time too.

i brought it the second time I went back home. That was after 5 yrs of stay in the dorm. i was not going to spend $45 for a cooker in an indian store (o:. NG... u r right it does save time with "dal" esp. "rahar" ko dal.

indi, btw, i forgot to mention i get all my glasses"chasma" (Prescription glasses) from Nepal[i have stigmatism thus had problem using lenses... too afraid to go for lasik http://www.bridgeport.edu/~thapa/lasik_EE510.doc] 40% of my books are from Nepal (LPE) 50% of my books are either free copies ordered by Professors or department i bring "gundruk" "masaura" "sukuti" from Nepal too among lot of other items....

let me add on ur list thapap: chyia patti teetau ra masala (dhulo jeera, baysaar) aachar teel jyouno,(jyuno ko jhool bhanau na) :P sano keerau (for keerau ko aachar) rahar ko dal luuang, sukumael supari parag and many more.....hey, u never now...if u are ever goin to find some indian store or not, and u dont wana use ur rs75=$1. pease out

thees jyu, i would have to agree with you but being honest i have not brought a single item from ur list (o: . cheese is amongst my favorite though i did bring johnny walker from bangkok though duty free.
