frens ,sorry for that but ia m telling you truth.all phonecard company are cheater.they said different minute but give less than that very less....why you are cheating with us man? any body recomend me best card for nepal (KTM) and out of KTM. please yar...ia m tried of this phone card.....Hello.....the line is busy...

himaliketo, i truely understand, i have been through that problems too, calling card websites likt tomatotel, himtel, are all FRAUDS, try nepboz.com, they have this card called nepbiz max, that givs 74 minutes to kathmandu and its good, besides, they have really good customer service, if ur card dosent work, call them and you will actually get to talk to the owner and ask him for another card. I heard their office in in texas. they are very reachable. good luck ;)

I purchased SDI Card from SDICARD.com I spent two days to make a call. I bought two cards @ 2 dollars each. In website it showed 16minute for KTM and when called it said 10 minute. I talked a guy in Chat section, he told the numbers shown in website are true. He blamed me for not using the card correctly, I told him that in first trial, it told 10minute. Then, the guy in chat did not answer, he just neglected my questions, that clearly showed he knows the trend. Next day, I called a guy over telephone after struggle, he gave another set of new cards and they either did not pick my phone (checked the number or their line was too busy). The new card also did not work, the way the guy told. I finally caught him over phone, and he told me that he will try another number. He asked the phone number in nepal I was trying for. He sent me third set of card numbers. It also did not work as he promised and it was little less than 2 dollars i.e. 1.89 dollar valued and rest money to be credited in next purchage. ... Since it did not work, their telephone did not like my phone number I called SDIcard new york head office. Finally, I found the name of the guy in charge of phone cards and they gave me his hotline phone number. I caught him and told him that I am struggling to use his card. He promised to help me and fix the problem. He asked for some time and his guy called me and gave a 4.59dollar card and promised it should work for 58minutes to ktm. After spending more than 24 hours, I got 4.59dollar valued "Budget" card. I called Nepal, first time the line was disconnected after 10 minute talk and second time it worked for 35 minutes, thus totaling 45 minutes. It was still less than what they promised. So, you have to use a factor and have strenght to muscle with them, provided you have time. "Time" is important to those who work in hourly basis and these card companies know it, so they try to show bigger number while you buy, and blame on you when you complain that the number is not accoring to advertisement. ... Only way you can do get fair minute is to threaten them to dipute with credit card company. You need to keep the website 's ad page that showed the number of minutes and what happens over telephone discussions while your dispute with the telephone talks. Its better to have text chat so that you can produce it as proof. Like time is money for you, it will also be waste of time for them to answer the credit card company's questions on behalf of your disput. Do not buy using DEBIT card, debit card does not have that strenght against fraud as credit has. Debit card is a priviledge to you, credit card company get nothing from you, so they don't include in disput policies .... (I am not sure, but this is waht a friend who was in trouble told to me). Dispute it, whenever the number of minutes are practically less than that you assumed after applying some cunning factors in this capitalist world, where everyone is trying to cheat you and money is considered everything. Well, I did threatened these guys about disputing and in fact I disputed it with my American Express card, and their response was very good, and it costs nothing for you to dispute against those cunning guys who advertise something else and offer something that is quite below expectations. It will also train you how to dispute, show your anger and make requests and .... ask for justice. Learn it. As long as you are not deliberately trying to cheat the other guy, and your disputes are genuine, you don't have to worry here. If you are not trying to make a fraud dispute, but making a real genuine dispute, you will lose only time and effort at the most. Your dispute might benefit others incluidng yourself in next round of shopping. Good Luck. GP

I might have to say that nepalisite.com people are the best so far in service and everything. I used to use SDI also. Then swithced to nepalisite.com Yes phone cards are a hassle. Every cards are like that, but one good thing about nepalisite was that when I had any doubts or problems then they took care of me good. i m not just speaking for myself. Try it yourself and see how they treat you. They will tell you everything about cards you wanna know. Can you imagine that they even didn't force me to buy. They were telling the facts such as rounding issues. hidden charges actual minutes connections loss of minutes... Seems like lots of issues involved in phone cards, but hey we are nepalese and we complain a lot--but guess what they are ready to answer those. thumbs up to those team at nepalisite.com and besides... if you have problem speak up--and use websites run by nepalese and call them if you have problem in trusting. And see how it will be to you. I m not speaking about only nepalisite only. Call other sites customer service also and choose. And besides phone card there is model of the month also haa..This time he looks like a kid. Good Luck...

GP, thats is exactly how every has to suffer for every tiny problem. I totally agree with u, if ur fone card dosent give u as much minutes as it says, then GO AHEAD AND DISPUTE IT, and get your money back. I remember when i bought a card from tomatotel.com, it was worth 10 $ and said it would give 120 minutes, i bought it and guess what, it didnt even give me 20 minutes, i called my credit card company the next minute and asked them to retrieve it, and they did. At the same time i called the fone card company and yelled at them about the fone card, and they gave me a new fone card which gave me about 10 minutes. I forcibly had to get my money back from them. I dont know what these fone card company thinks when they post the minute about fone cards.But since i have switched to nepbiz.com, they really take care of their customers and will help you. The only way to save your hard earned money, is to dispute over the payment and get it back. That way i think these fone card companies will stop cheating people.

Before I buy cards at the websites, you have recommended I want to how are you associated with those websites? I am not confident enough that you are genuine users, and not connected to these websites or their owners? The way you are advertising here clearly gives an indication that you might be directly or indirectly benefeciary of the every card is sold out there. You did not point out a single weakness of these websites, in this cut-throat competitive market? $5 gives more than 70 minutes ? Should I believe? Let me hear name of other users whose identity can be verified here in Sajha.com. GP

Hmm, NepaliSite.com i.e. TeleNepal.com seems to offer good deal. and TelNepal.com's per minute charges 18c/min is not that appreciable. The name of both site is different by one middle char, becareful when you type it for the first time. I wonder whether there will be another phone card company that will have website TellNepal.com ... to confuse customers and to attract customers... Anyway, good luck guys. GP

People in such biz. are ready to hear bad words and probably they are insensitive to bad words. They already have heard such words several times a day. Bad for them is to answer the disputes that come through credit card company. They have to spend good deal of time to answer these disputes, go back and check the file retrieve the data and justify their money snatching tricks. Well, it surely cost your time and effort. You have to record your phone talk hours and minutes: start and end times. But, we people from underdeveloped world like south asia and africa are so acustomed to cheating that we take them granted: its OK to have 10 min use of card eventhough it was advertized as 16minute or 20minute. We came from a background where law of land virtually does not exist and law enforcement officers hardly ever work under such situations rather tell you: "desh ma hatti khada kehi hundaina, dhanya garnus 10min ta paunu bho. Janus ki dhakka lagayera nikalidiu...." would be a response from our Nepali Police officer or CDO offices in Nepal. But, if a law enforcement officer use these words in USA or other developed countries, they will be punished severely. So, credit card companies are their to help you if you dipute it, they are legally required to file your dispute. .... So, don't waste time just putting bad word on their mouth, but, do something to get your money back and thats win situation for you. If you want to pay money just because you want to put some bad words, then you will be bankrupted very soon............. In capitalism, humanity, society ... mercy and feelings are not counted, ..... so bad words ... work in country where feelings are weighed more than money. Here in America, money counts and nothing else counts. So, if you are willing to keep your feeling cross the Pacific ocean and your bad words will really work. This is my understanding. My feelings were never appreciated in this country, only appreciation goes to money ..... and its legality. When you spend money and if you want a service advertised in some verifiable source, then, keep your feeling aside and be tough with those things in written in that paper. IF you sign on paper, no one is going to help you considering your feelings, they will always chase you through those papers, and we have to do the same..... Talk what is written in their website and what service you got, and clearly tell that "I am going to ask my credit card company to dispute the service that does not fit your advertisement.". Such claims are much more powerful, and annoying to them compared to pouring your feelings or bad words. GP

ok if you really wanna get max minutes then why dont you send a VOIP phone to your family it like 15 dollars a month your family get to talk to you for 500 minutes anytime and i dont know about the incomming. the other thing is your family will need a broad band connection.
