Slipknot, I would say,
Queen's - the one that has "Love of my life", " Bohemian Rhapsody", Another one bites the dust" and more.
Jagjit Singh's Collection from his various album.
Arun thapa and Narayan Gopal jiu ko Gana ko collection :)
A collection of
Bob dylan---- Many... ( Tambourine man, Like a rolling stone,
Neil Dimond ( song - Girl you will be a woman soon, Kentucky woman, Red Red Wine and few others)
Neil young (Harvest moon album ko - From Hank to Hendrix, Unknown legend, War of Man, Harvest Moon and almost all of the song of the album)
Beatles : Collection - Working Class Hero, Imagine and many more ( these two are must.)
Some oldies of Mohammad rafi and Kishor kumar and Lata ji :)
And i would have a collection of many other artist, like GNR, Nirvana, UKJ ( cats in da cradle is a must and Mr. recordman is Nice), Wham:p ( for old tyam's sake), LOBO :), CCR ( the old man is down the road..... nice song), Dire straits ( great songs-- check it out), Bad company ( Feels like Makin love :)) etc, Black Sabbath, Nazareth ( Where are you now? .. old fav. :)), Eminem ( loose urself) and many more.
So, there are very few albums that i like, i would much rather make a collection, albeit i might consider keepin the records of one artist together.
Indisguise:)
Top Ten Albums I own are... and I gotta have it no matter what hmmm... well, I'll pretty much survive if I have these 10 albums... hmmm.
1. Extension of "Blues Notes" by Narayan Gopal... My own Narayan Gopal CD.
2. Karai-Karle -- Rock Yogies... eh. Awesome Album.
3. Sradhanjali, Best of Arun Thapa which has songs like Jati Maya Laaye pani, ma roye pani chot ke ho, ... classic.
4. Listen Without Prejudice VOl 1 George Michael... Been 14 years since the album hit the market. Don't even know how many times I have listened to the "Something to save". Really, Something to save.
5. The Greatest Hits: The Eagles.
6. The Greatest Hits: U2 :P -- Had to choose 1 album :D (and and Achtung Baby!)
7. Face to Face Jagjit Singh (I had this Ghulam Ali Live, which I lost somewhere, awesome album including songs like Dil mein ik lahar si etc) + Nusrat's Sangam
8. Dire Straits Live at Alchemy
9. Matrix (Triology) soundtrack (the one with DU HAST song :P)
10. AR RAHMAN (including his Tamil songs like chika buka raile, songs from "boys", "bombay dreams")and RD BURMAN's ESSENTIALS in MP3 format :D). RD's songs are intersting to listen to because he is so versatile one song is hardcore bhajan, where the other song is based on Shivaranjani raag and the third song is "dum maro dum"... ah.
Gotta Have these... No matter what...
(There are more, but I'd stick to the rule.)
Forgot to mention:
Piracy Jindabad
;)

Anybody with good collection of blues and jazz albums? It would be nice to know the 'must-haves'.......
HM
Good Collection of Blues and Jazz??? Hmmmm... naah, but I have bunch of classical music CD's from Beethoven to Ravi Shankar, which I hardly listen to ... (procrastination)... savin' em for rainy day... Also got some of the masterpieces by Nusrat... Actually, one of the jackasses I knew, he had this 19" TV box full of various unopened CD's, which he got for free and he was throwing it in the garbage... He didn't even know who was Beethoven, forget about Nusrat and Amjad Ali Khan... So I just dug the box and carried whatever I could in one paper bag... :D
eh.. Funny.. :D
Kalankisthan... in that case you should have carried the whole box with you...:-)! Wonder what goodies were thrown away...! You sure the jackass you are talking about is not chinese? :-) kidding a'right?
When you say Beethoven... I remember this song by Chuck Berry ..."Roll over Beethoven! Roll over Beethoven!" He is fun to listen to too...
