I mentioned in November of 2024 on Sajha that this would happen, and many of you mocked me. Now, if you're an F1,H1b,TPS, Green Card, anyone with immigrant status with a drunk driving record, you're in trouble.

You didn't know till date that if you get DUI arrest while in visa you could be deported? this is not a breaking news, the rule has been there for a long and is strictly enforced . Also , if you are store associate don't sell tobacco/ alcohol to minors . any crime related to minor can easily get you deported . be careful and follow the law you will be fine. this is not Nepal .

If you've a dui its a misdemeanor, to disqualify your PPS (Permanent protection status) you cannot have 2 or more misdemeanor or a felony. Stay chill. You can fight that in court. If you entered illegally and not in sanctuary cities with DUzi records. Watch out
