There have been broad misuse of H1B visas reportedly by foreign IT staffing companies (such as Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Cognizant, HCL, etc.) and US Corporations like they are attempting to prove that Americans are schmucks-on-wheels.

According to Economic Policy Institute between 2022 and 2023, the top 30 companies using the H1B workers laid off 85,000 workers in the US while simultaneously hiring 34,000 H1B workers (overwhelmingly Indians) "from abroad".
In 2019 and 2020, 85% of H1B visas were awarded to junior and entry-level resources who are paid 20%-40% less than American workers in similar occupations thus contributing to wage-deflation.
There have also been reports of foreign staffing companies allowing H1B visa-holders to work as fashion-models, lawyers, massage-therapists, cooks, dog-trainers and even English teachers in flagrant violations against H1B's original charter of filling highly-skilled positions that companies cannot find in the American talent-pool. Indians misusing the system everywhere , indian not only misuse h1b but h4 ead as well . there will be a few amendments on h1b when trump takes office .

Salary bar for h1b will go higher ,
H4 ead will be eliminated,
h1b job will be onsite only as per LCA with some exceptions .

h1b holder will not be allowed to do 2 job / dual h1b at the same time .
