Adhikaar.org: Pronouns Over TPS Advocacy

Last week, Fwd.us quickly sent a letter to the U.S. government when Nicaragua was left out of the TPS extension list. But Adhikar.org hasn’t done anything like that for the Nepali community. They haven’t written letters, tweeted, or even posted a statement asking for TPS to be extended for Nepal.

Instead, they’ve focused on adding pronouns like (She/Her) and (He/Him) after staff names and seem more interested in programs like the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) work. Their lack of action on urgent issues like TPS makes you wonder where their priorities lie.

If you’re thinking about donating to them, consider this: your money might not go toward helping the community with its real problems.
