Media reports say India has permitted exports of food grains to Nepal, Indonesia, Senegal and Gambia as part of its economic diplomacy.

अर्थमन्त्री प्रकाशशरण महतले नीतिगत र प्रणालीगत सुधार गरेर संकटमा रहेको अर्थतन्त्रलाई लयमा फर्काउने सरकारको योजना रहेको बताएका छन् । आर्थिक वर्ष ०८०/८१ को बजेट वक्तव्यमा अर्थमन्त्री महतले यस्तो बताएका हुन् ।

सरकारले राष्ट्रिय प्राकृतिक स्रोत तथा वित्त आयोगको सिफारिसका आधारमा वित्तीय समानीकरण अनुदानतर्फ प्रदेशलाई रु ५८ अर्ब ६७ करोड र स्थानीय तहलाई रु ८७ अर्ब ३५ करोड गरी जम्मा रु १ खर्ब ४६ अर्ब २ करोड वित्तीय हस्तान्तरण गर्ने घोषणा गरेको छ ।
