You’re essentially listening to two people have a conversation you’re not a part of. This could be interesting if you’re invested in the life of someone telling a deep story, but oftentimes, podcasts revolve around a topic that is surface-level and easily accessible (and I have a hard time caring about the lives of people I have never met). Sports podcast? I’d rather watch the sport. Music podcast? I’d rather listen to music. Politics podcast? I’d rather listen to nails on a chalkboard.

Almost any topic a podcast covers can be experienced in a far more direct way and enjoyable way.

As someone who has worked in a Nepali media house, I can clear some of your couple of doubts.

Firstly, a politician does not visit an interviewer he is not familiar with. Secondly, the question is reviewed before interviewing despite it looks like it's happening on air or just some random guff but the question is already sent and the interviewee decides the type of question to be asked. Thirdly, on the air program especially TV/radio programs, there is a certain time delay. On this shitty podcast, they can cut and trim everything awkward for them.

Who the heck is Susan baniya, Sushant Pradana and Kuikel ?

I rather watch Nepali people over TikTok than Nepali youth over Youtube. Like seriously lifestyle of the Nepali Aunties area is damn interesting.
